Description: Every morning look for a variety of items to start your day. We serve egg and cheese based breakfast sandwiches and burritos, as well as baked items from local bakeries. We offer a fantastic selection of organic and fair trade coffees from local vendors in a variety of different roasts as well as organic and fair trade teas. Eggs, bagels, breads, gluten free breads, and tofu are all locally laid or made. On weekends the deli offers breakfast from 8:00am to 10:45am. The breakfast menu is an expansion of our breakfast offerings during the week including eggs any way, omelets, home fries, breakfast burritos, huevos rancheros, and a daily breakfast special. All selections are or can be made vegan or gluten-free. In addition to our standing menu, the deli crew is always busy cooking up specials, hot entrees, pizza, burritos, and soups to wow the imagination. Utilizing organic and local vegetables, local breads, clean meats, and natural and organic raw ingredients, the deli strives to offer the healthiest mix of good food around. Have to grab something on the go? No worries...we've got you covered. Choose something from our service or grab n' go cases. These items are meant to be quick, easy, and nutritious. We've got something for everyone and it always hits the spot!

I'm not quite sure why Belfast Food Co-op Deli gets good reviews. I've been here several times only to experience slow and rude service, cold eggs, rock hard bread, dirty tables and coffee not worth drinking. I'm no food or venue snob, but, even after giving it a few chances...it's misses on all accounts and I'm vowed not to return. Sorry Co-op.

LOVE this place.

It's got local produce, vegan options (I'm not even vegan but I find this a really neat draw), and all sorts of things you wouldn't find anywhere else.

My boyfriend and I picked up some groceries here for our quick overnight stay in the area. I was immediately impressed by the quality of everything. (I live close by to a few places that offer natural and organic foods so I'm a bit spoiled!)

From the cheese to the apple juice even to the chocolate - all the items were delicious! We didn't get a chance to try the food from their cafe but maybe next time!

The prices are comparable to Tendercrop Farms in Newbury, MA/Dover, NH and Golden Harvest in Kittery, ME.

The Coop is a great place for many items.
The sandwiches are terrific and the desserts are as well. Expect to pay big money for some items.
I bought a loaf of country white bread there last Friday, 4/11/2014 and it was $5.85.
A little costly. Overall nice place

The Co-op Deli has some delicious items on their menu and very well prepared. For a varied vegetarian and vegan items, make time for a stop. While you are there, do some shopping in their store.

Locals suggested this market to us for organic local produce and goods. The place is rather large, staff friendly and very helpful. Prices on fresh herbs and produce well worth it. They also deeply discount expired herbs and produce which is great for soups and roasting.
