I had the lunch special--cup of chicken soup w/half a ham & cheese sandwich. The chicken soup was creamy and had good chunks of chicken, carrots, and red potatoes in it. Really delicious! I substituted onion rings for chips but they were rather greasy and bland. The sandwich was grilled and on rye bread...adequate but nothing special. My husband had a pastrami sandwich, which he enjoyed, served w/homemade chips. These chips were not flavored with salt, pepper, or anything else so they tasted awful and he left most of them. The room we ate in was quite dark at noon but there is also seating outside, which has a great view. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. All in all, this is a decent lunch place but not superb.
Previously, I had had lunch here with a large group of women. We were served from a catering menu and found everything really excellent.

We had a rehearsal dinner for about 40 people on Mexican night. The food was amazing and the staff was very efficient. Everyone there had a blast!
