We go here quite often all winter. Great atmosphere with good local entertainment. The Pub food is just average. Great place to stop in for a beer and wings and hang out après ski..

Found this local Pub by word of mouth. Located in the Sudbury Inn on the main street of town. Very casual atmosphere, friendly bartenders and awesome selection of standard pub fare. The Nachos were a mountain of goodness and there are a ton of beers on tap. I let the Bartender pick the right one for me and she did. Great place for a quick bit for one or show up with the entire family. Look forward to going back.

We stopped here for dinner one night in October - their off season. It seemed to be mostly a locals hangout, and they advertise being family friendly, and they were - there were a handful of young children (under age 7) playing together. The pub was busy, but fortunately, we didn't have to wait for a table for 2. It appeared that this place is especially popular with local fishermen and local skiers (during ski season) - from Sunday River Ski resort, I imagine.
We ordered a wine and a soda, and for dinner split a spinach salad ($8) and a small chicken pesto pizza ($11). This worked out perfectly for us - it was just the right amount of food; we finished it all, and didn't have to take anything "to go", but we were both full.
Warning, it was pretty loud in here, especially with the young kids playing. And, based on the size of the room I imagine it gets pretty loud on the nights they have live music.
If you are looking for pub food at a reasonable price, we enjoyed our meal here.

Off season, midweek...our choice for pub food and World Series Game 1. Katie, our server, was pleasant, attentive, and accommodating. Asked for pizza "little well done," and she knew exactly what I meant. And the pizza was great with a crunchy panko dusting on the crust. She proudly proclaimed that the crab cakes were made fresh that day and my wife proclaimed them a hit. If this place is this good in the "off season" I will return in season to see how they can get even better.
