We went clockwise around the Eastern Shoreline Loop (1.1 miles) and, like other reviewers, really enjoyed the water views. The first section passed the more enclosed of the inlets where the water was cloudy and greenish. Within minutes of the start we saw a great blue heron -- always a wonderful sight. The northern and eastern sides of the peninsula had clearer water from tidal flows. The trail sports two benches and is generally pretty easy but the exposed roots can make it difficult to take in the views while watching where you walk. All in all a lovely walk/hike.
