The inn was great with large windows facing the harbor and sunset. Awnings helped keep the room cool. The room was quiet and clean.Wrap around deck overlooking harbor was relaxing. The dockside grille had good food. We had breakfast and lunch there.

Great place to stay! Our only complaint was that we wanted a king but all their rooms with a view are doubles. The rooms on the "back" side have the kings and we checked out that view and it wouldn't have been bad. We were fine with the double though. The room was perfect for what we wanted. There is a gorgeous view of the harbor from the walkway and it was a short walk to take the foot bridge across the harbor to shops and restaurants. One very nice perk is that the hotel is close to the white wooden church you see in pictures of Boothbay and they play hymns with their church bells. Adds just that perfect New England quaintness to a picture pefect landscape. I think Boothbay has got to be my favorite destination of any in my life. It' like taking a vacation in a storybook.

Room Tip: Go with the double beds for the view of the bay.

Stayed here sort of by accident, since they were the only place I could find at the last minute for a one night stay on a weekend. Everyone was very friendly, the rooms were modest and simply furnished but very clean, they had great views out over the water, and the price was VERY reasonable. You could pay more for a fancier place, but unless you are going to spend a lot of time in your room, why bother?

Nice place, great view. We enjoyed just sitting on the balcony with our coffee( always had a pot on for guests) watching the boat activity.
The staff was so friendly and helpful. We plan on going back.
The cruises they offer are great too!

Room Tip: pay the extra for the harbor view,,it's worth it!

My husband and I decided to explore a new destination on our "mini" vacation. I plugged in the maine coast on Trip Advisor and this hotel fit not only our needs but our budget! However we never thought we would find such a "diamond-in-the rough" as this little "jewel" turned out to be!! The staff was friendly and informative! The footbridge took me right down town to the village..(shops) and my husband got to sit on the "dock of the cove"..awaiting my return. The Dockside Restaurant had THE BEST lobster value in the Harbor and the rib eye & lobster mac & cheese was to DIE for. And when it comes to clean..why the cleaning staff keeps the rooms and the grounds "ship-shape"! All in it had everything a relaxing vacationeer could want!!...

Room Tip: Rooms facing the dock/cove have a spectacular view! Bring some coffee from home to brew in the 4 cup...
