The Chef/Owner's family is FROM Italy, and so are the recipes. Not your typical American-Italian, 'load 'em up with paste type' restaurant. Ceasar salad was generous and tasted fresh, not commercial. The two dishes we had, were extremely flavorful, and as I said, noticably absent of a pile of pasta filler. We had split the salad , and with the entree were full just the same. For dessert, the chocolate moose was to die for. Decor is average, but you don't go to eat the decor. Be sure to go in the back way and see the model house the owner's mother built from scratch and sent over from Italy. The detail is unbelievable. Highly recommend this restaurant.
