I found this B & B online. Called and left a message and they returned my call in short time. Jennifer and Max own and run this almost european tavern/inn a stone's throw from the harbor in Boothbay. Once there, I felt like I was entering an old English mix, where you can eat great food in the tavern or on the very private deck, drink a good mix of beers or wine or fine liquors, and just soak up a vintage atmosphere. In our week in Maine, I had the most delicious meal of the week, lobsters aside. Many locals eating dinner there also. Upstairs, the room was warm and tastefully done and the bed wonderful. The only complaint is that you could go there and not want to leave to go out. But if you do, the harbor is a relaxing 5 minute walk.
Max, the french toast could be more creative but maybe I'm getting greedy.
