“A quiet piece of heaven in Down East Maine”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

We haven't stayed here, but took a walk through this property to advise friends who might camp there. This is a new development, opened just this June, but the care in planning and thoughtful layout is quite apparent. Sites have good spacing, settled in amongst the conifers and hardwoods. Water and electricity are available to some sites. Fire rings are available for cozy campfires. A grassy walkway and ramp lead to the rocky shore of Eggemoggin Reach where you can enjoy sunsets, sailboats passing by, and a view of the Deer Isle suspension bridge. Lori and Paul are congenial hosts who can point you to the delights of the best that the Blue Hill Peninsula and Deer Isle have to offer. If you are looking for a restful spot to enjoy summer in Maine, this would be a very good bet.

Stayed July 2014, travelled with family

Thank you so much for your review ! We provide affordable ocean front tent and RV camping for family and friends. Our beach is secluded and the water clear. We offer a primitive setting with electricity only at your site but drinking water and a dump station for your RV available. A hot shower after a day spent sightseeing or on the beach or out on the water, then sitting by a crackling fire...ahhh...who doesn't love camping. Hope to see you ! Thank you for your review, Lori
