You seldom find these tracks. It was popular 30 or 40 years ago, but popularity ebbed with the advent of radio control cars. Still, we visited this place and had fun! The track is much smaller than the track I had seriously raced on 30+ years ago, but that’s an unfair comparison. The racetrack we frequented back then were huge, 15 meters in length on the straightaway; a different era. The track here is much smaller and the cars also a smaller scale. This track has 4 lanes and speed can be adjusted to the skills of the drivers. When we visited it was just us [all adult age], and had the track speed cranked up…what fun! If there happens to be a really young person, let’s say less than 10 years old, and the track speed turned down, then it’s not as much fun since you can just keep the thumb pressed all the way down on the accelerator for the entire track. But when the speed is cranked up, it then becomes a game of skill. Staff was friendly. There’s also an extensive selection of tracks and cars for sale.
Track rental includes cars, there was an adequate selection. Definitely an activity that’s more fun when there's at least 2 people. Enjoyable amusement for an hour. The entrance to this small indoor mall, which is off the town’s main boulevard, is a little hard to spot from the street. We would definitely do this activity again if we happen to be in the area.
