We made a last minute booking here in our way to Acadia. Always call and book directly! It is much better! We arrived super late, but they were very accommodating and made arrangements for us. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with all the basics you need. The continental breakfast was complete and filling. But the property owners are the sweetest nicest people. Very responsible, and just all in all runs a great business. Great recommendations for restaurants (3 lobsters for 20!) And shopping! Great overall stay

I have stayed at several Americas Best Value Inn's in the past and every time I swear to never return, but this one had so many good reviews and was so cheap I did it again. All the rave is well deserved. This hotel is super clean, newly and tastefully renovated, great friendly staff, and original art that's actually not tacky! Quite nice actually. This hotel is more like a low end Holiday inn than an Americas best value inn. For the cheap price you can't do better in this area. The breakfast bagels were delicious as well! And there's a pool.

I don't typically stay in motels so I am not an expert but this well located motel hosted by Harry and Anila from India was a good experience. The host was friendly and accommodating. The price was reasonable (approximately $75), the room was newly renovated and most importantly it was about 30 minutes from Portland's airport. This was perfect for my as I was flying solo on this trip!

Room Tip: If your are looking for no frills, clean, and safe and close to airport this is it.

If you are seeking a typical multistory chain hotel then this place is not for you. Instead this is a great value drive up motel that has been well taken care of by the owners. The rooms are quite large with freshly painted walls, new ceiling, new carpets, and a completely refurbished bathroom containing new vanity, toilet, mirror, and hair dryer. Improvements weren't just done to the interiors, the exterior has new porch lights, paint, and large beautiful flower baskets hanging from the porch area in front of the doors. What makes this inn great is that you pull your vehicle right in front of your door and walk a few steps to your room. No elevators or steps to drag your luggage along. And if you feel the need for air conditioning the wall unit will freeze you out of the room if you turn it down low.
Besides the good value for my money, the primary reason my wife and I stayed here is because other reviews said the rooms were clean. I highly agree with this assessment and found both the room and bathroom well cleaned. And we washed a small load of clothes on site using their clean coin operated machines.
Even though the room has a small refrigerator and coffee maker, we chose to take advantage of the included continental breakfast. It contained, apple and orange juice, coffee and tea, English muffins, bagels, and sliced bread, cream cheese and jelly, individually boxed cereals, and milk. Most people eat these items for breakfast every day and a hot meal really isn't needed. Oh, and there are some pastries too. All bakery items were fresh. It was nice eating in the lobby area with other guests and talking with them and the owners. The husband and wife owners are very personable and a pleasure to talk with each morning. If we happen to return to the area again we will certainly return to this inn.

Room Tip: There is a two-story section and a single-story section. We staying the single-story and did not ha...

Basic motel, nothing exciting. Good location with an easy access from the highway. Rooms are ok, clean but little dated. Super thin walls!!! You can hear all conversations, so if you are in some shady business and want to meet there with your peers I wouldn't recommend it. Super friendly girl in the office. She has told us about a place where we could go to grab something to eat with our 3 year old. Maybe I would stay there again.

We stayed here while doing some sightseeing on a weekend away in Maine. It was fine, but really nothing special. The pillows were limp and lumpy and the bathroom a bit swampy and mildewy. Do not think that it was worth the $150 we spent. While the staff were super-friendly, would not stay here again.

I recommend this hotel as the better alternative to any Econo Lodge or Comfort Inn or Quality Inn. It is run by a very sweet woman, the rooms are clean, the atmosphere is quiet, and all in all it is very very pleasant. It does not have that impersonal chain feel, and I highly recommend it. Great value too.
