Place is great for adults. Food is always excellent. Service is terrible. I have come to this restaurant many, many times. My experience is that if you have young children they do not want to seat you. On one occasion the hostess/waitress told me that there was an hour wait for a table. When I agreed to this, she came back and told me that it would really be much longer. There were several parties that I observed finishing. Now it is true they may have had reservations for these tables; but this was at an off-time during the day and in the winter. This has happened too many times. So be warned this is not a place for young kids. They do not want your business.
When I have come to this restaurant with adults only I have never had a problem getting a seat. You may have to wait, but it is a small place and that just shows it is very popular.
My experience repeatedly has been the waitress/hostess have attitudes. There is a sense that they are looking down at you. When you ask for something, (another drink, the bill, etc) it is like they are going out of the way for you and doing you a favor that they do not want to do for you. It is really pretty outrageous. This does not happen every time, but often enough that I hesitate to go to this restaurant, even though the food is always excellent and I have never had anything on the menu (and I have had every dish they serve) that was not excellent.
I just wish they would talk to their staff about treating customers like customers.
