This is a sweet and small hotel, up the hill from the town. Our room was at the top of the house and was big with the comfiest bed I have ever slept on. The only downside was the wifi was weak and the stairs are very steep and low banisters - not one for those with bad knees. The breakfast was great, with a variety of choice. We had dinner one night and aside from one rather pretentious waiter, the food was excellent. The town has some really good shops and nice restaurants, plus lots of boat trips and hikes.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the second floor if you have bad knees

We ran late from a dinner meeting from Portland, arrived after 12:50 am.
wish we had more time to enjoy the Inn.
The Inn keeper kindly came out greeted us and helped us to our room, in the middle of the night, very kind gesture.
Peronalized notes everywhere.
Top of the line bathroom essentials.
The bed was to die for with a feather bed top, could of slept all day there.
Small room but European flare. Can see the Dutch owners personality.

Would sleep there again, but breakfast did not make my stay.
Breakfast was classic Lobster benedict, but orange juice not fresh squeezed, the buffet with sliced
ham and cheese even less desirable.
if your looking for perfection I hear the Lobster tasting dinner is wonderful, did not have time to try it but locals said it is great.

Camden is certainly a beautiful town, and CHI is set high a truly beautiful Maine building. We had pre booked our room " Bonaire" and we were certainly not disappointed, a great view over the harbor. The room was well appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. All the staff were extremely helpful and to top it off Natalie's Restaurant was a highlight.
The only down side was that CHI has no elevator so stairs can prove trying especially if you have larger suit cases.

Room Tip: Be careful on the stairs and seek help if you have size able suit cases.

We stayed at CHI in May and had a wonderful time. Our pleasure with the visit began before we even set foot on the property as Kate and Christopher worked hard to help us get reservations at the restaurant we wanted when we had trouble, and to choose the most appropriate room for us. We choose Curacao on the 2nd floor with its own roof deck and the best views in the place. They pay attention to every detail so your experience is wonderful -- champagne and hors d'oeuvres in your room when you arrive, notes from the housekeeping team, smiles and being called by name from everyone. It was great. The inn itself is old but the decor and amenities are modern and sophisticated so you have the best of both. And being a R&C property, the food is AMAZING! A very special place.

Room Tip: Talk with the folks at CHI when you're making your reservation. They'll help you pick a room...

This is a superb inn--the best of the best, casual and perfect at the same time. Kate, Micah and Seth were amazing. The food, service, room, everything were as wonderful as you get anywhere in the world. Wonderful in every way. My only "complaint" (if such a thing is possible in a near-perfect experience) is that they only offer the local paper and don't have the NY Times or WSJ. Other inns them it so it's possible. That would have made the morning that much more perfect. They get it Sunday but not daily. I'm definitely going back, so I hope they get at least the Times!

Great views, great rooms, exceptionnal food and service! My boyfriend and I were really impressed by the inn. It's a true ''relais et châteaux''. I would like to congretulate all the kitchen's team because the food is outstanding and i'm really picky with fine cuisine. It's a place to return and return!
We hope that the owners will create the same ambiance at the Danfoth in Portland!
Thank you for all.

Room Tip: Chose a room with views over the port!
