We enjoyed a very nice stay at the Timbercliffe Cottage B&B. Like the other reviewers - Dave and Karen were excellent hosts - very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. While enjoying the nostalgia of this beautiful home from the 1860's - the rooms were decorated to remind you of the period - but with modern convenience. The breakfast was truly amazing and enjoyed meeting and talking with other guests on their front porch (which overlooks the Bay). It's located just up the hill from the downtown area - a nice walk on a nice day! We are so glad that we stayed at the Timbercliffe and would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Timbercliffe on our first trip to Maine. We loved the wonderful hospitality that Dave and Karen showed to us. They are gracious hosts filled with excellent suggestions for dining and outings. We enjoyed chatting an amazing breakfast as we chatted with the other guests around the table. We will certainly stay here again when we visit Maine again!

We chose this bed and breakfast again this year, but came 2 months earlier. The house and grounds are well taken care of ! Dave and Karen arranged a sunset cruise for us.We have stayed in the same room-lovely furniture and bathroom with claw tub. I had a recent sprained ankle and Karen prepared an icepack for me . The great breakfast was served outdoors and included everything you could want from fruit to waffles eggs and bacon.
They are very hospitable innkeepers and we would definitely recommend their Bed and Breakfast.

Room Tip: We have stayed in the same front room on the second floor.

Stayed at Timbercliffe in early June, and it soon became a highlight of our trip. This was a truly exceptional B&B, with fresh cookies every day, an amazing two-course breakfast, incredibly thoughtful service, and very comfortable accommodations. It was like coming to a home away from home. The house has a New England history of its own, which was fun to be a part of for a couple of days. Camden was one of our favorite stops in Maine – downtown is charming and eclectic, and just a short walk from the Inn. We rarely return to the same place twice, but we’re seriously considering it just to go back to Timbercliffe!

Room Tip: Goodman Jesse Thomas has a fun canopy bed and a HUGE bathroom - view of the woods out back. All roo...

I had the pleasure of staying at Timbercliffe for my birthday this month and absolutely loved it! I like that it was slightly out of the center of town, but still walkable. The hosts/chefs were welcoming, warm, and hospitable, as innkeepers should be, and it's clear that they love Maine.
My husband and I loved the king-sized four poster bed, the in-room fireplace, the spacious bathroom, reading corner, and wonderful water views from our window. We slept like babies and woke up excited for breakfast and to see the inn in daylight after a late, rainy arrival. (I've never stayed somewhere where they turned down the bed for me before!) Everything was delicious and served so elegantly- the fruit, blueberry cake, and eggs with herbs de Provence.
One of my favorite features was the little kitchenette for guests to use whenever they like- beautiful old sink, coffee machine, wine glasses, fruit, almonds, and homemade cookies are all available to grab whenever needed.
I only wish we had been able to stay longer- if you choose Timbercliffe for your stay in Camden, Maine, you won't be disappointed!
