Very nice and informative crew with a nicely kept up schooner. Easy to find and easy to make reservations online or in person. We suggest online as the schooner fills up quickly. We took the 10 AM cruise. They do not serve food or drink so if you need or want something be sure to bring it.

My wife, 9 year old son and I took a two hour sail. Great time.Captain was great and informed us of the many sights, islands,Curtis Island, the Graves rocks, houses on shore, history of the area etc. Great way to spend a couple of hours on a nice day.

If you check The Olad website, you'll see their new sailing vessel addition called The Owl, a gorgeous, sleek wooden boat built in the 1940s. My husband and I chartered the boat for a 4 hour private sail to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From reservations through the trip itself, everyone on the Olad team was super helpful and friendly. Our captain was Matthew, who was amazing, knowledgable, friendly, and interesting to talk with . We felt totally comfortable and safe in his care. It was a perfect fall day for sailing! The Owl provides an intimate sailing experience, perfect for a couple or for up to 6 people. The brass detailing and craftsmanship are stunning--- please don't polish the brass--the patina on it is gorgeous! we cant wait to come back again next year. thank you, matthew, for making our sailing adventure picture perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed the two hour cruise on the Olad. The crew were very friendly and helpful and the boat is really beautiful. The photograph they took was included in the prIce and was a great memento of a fabulous day. I loved feeling that we were really sailing in the beautiful bay - it felt more like an authentic experience and not like a tourist rip off.
