This fabulous place is extremely well run & maintained to a very high standard. It has a touch of class, style and sophistication way beyond other places we have stayed. Anita is warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. She went out of her way to help us and is a wealth if knowledge about anthing around the area. Her restaurant recommendations have been superb. Our room and bathroom was lovely, bright large & well equipped. The living areas are spacious and fabulous. Everything has been so tastefully done with great care & attention to detail. An absolute pleasure to stay here

It was a treat to visit the Belmont Inn again. We stayed here in 2009 and left hoping to come back one day. We succeeded in doing just that staying three nights the last week in September. We love the Belmont Inn. The location is perfect for walking and exploring Camden. The Inn itself is beautiful and very comfortable. This time we stayed in the roomy Painted Lady.
The best part of the Belmont Inn is Anita. She makes her guests feel welcome spending time at check-in getting to know you. Her recommendations for restaurants and things to do and see are spot on. Breakfast each day is a delight. Next time I want French toast!
Again we hated to leave. Anita we hope to see you and the Belmont Inn in the not too distant future.

Room Tip: Painted Lady is roomy and comforatble with a window seat to enjoy the surroundings.

We really enjoyed our stay here since The Belmont Inn is both spotless and lovely. Anita Zino, the owner and Innkeeper, is extremely knowledgable about the area, along with being a fabulous cook. In addition, this B&B is ideally located within walking distance from town. For more pictures and commentary, check out www.gustatori.com.

My husband and I took our first vacation without our children in 13 years and chose to go to Maine. We stayed the first three nights at the Belmont Inn in Camden, Maine and then headed up to Bar Harbor. We wished we had stayed all five nights in Camden. The town is just as lovely as the innkeeper, Anita. The Inn was beautiful. We loved relaxing on the front porch in the evening with a glass of wine or beer. Anita makes the most amazing breakfast you will ever have....I joked that my husband wanted to take her home with us :) She is also extremely accommodating with her menu. A couple other guests had specific diet/allergy requests and she made them a special breakfast without hesitation. Anita also makes wonderful recommendations regarding excursions, restaurants, etc. based on your likes/dislikes. She is like having your own personal tour guide and her recommendations do not disappoint. We hope to visit Anita and the Belmont Inn again soon.

My girlfriend and I needed a place/location to recharge our batteries. The Belmont Inn measured up to our expectations on many fronts. The Innkeeper Anita was awesome and had many ideas regarding places of interest and dining places. She put together 2 of the most interesting AND delicious breakfasts. One day was fresh strawberries and an entrée of a kicked up grilled cheese sandwich with prosciutto and two other cheeses. It was awesome. On day 2 she served a fried egg inside a flower/basket/holder. That was equally awesome. Also, if you like a good strong cup of coffee, this is your place.

We stayed in the Allen Suite which was beautiful decorated with king sized bed and an extra room to store your clothes and stuff. We felt very comfortable and cozy in the room.

While it's not the fault of Anita, it was my error....but worth mentioning that the rooms don't have TV. It ended up not being a big deal but thought it was my responsibility to say something.

Her location was perfect 3 to 5 minute walk to town off a side street. So you weren't in the middle of a crowded street but close enough o leave your car in park.

Besides going to Mt Battie, the coolest thing from my perspective was her recommendation to go to a nearby town and taste good balsamic vinegars and olive oils Fiore's in Rockland.

All in all, a great stay and well worth it!
