We just completed our annual Labor Day weekend stay at the Blue Harbor House. As usual, Annette and Terry treated us like family. This year we stayed in the Captains Quarters suite. It is nautical-themed and spacious with a king bed, sofa, tv, dvd player, a/c, working fireplace, couch, and kitchenette. Terry added a 2-person steam shower this year. My wife fell in love with it and wants me to install one in our house. We will be returning next year.

Sharon and Dick

Room Tip: If you want to try the steam shower thing, stay in the Captain's Quarters.

The Blue Harbor was a perfect place to stay in the Camden/Rockland area. Great location - walking distance to "downtown" shops and restaurants but just far enough to be quiet and restful. The Hosts were friendly and helpful. The room was charming and comfortable and the breakfasts were fantastic! The best we've ever had.

This Inn was clean and the owners are so warm and hospitable. The area is local to shops and the harbor, the suite we had was just the best. Sleeping was wonderful, then the breakfasts were to die for. Delicious way to start our day. Thank you Annette and Terry

Room Tip: We took the suite which gave a room to sleep in and a living space to watch TV

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, Terry and Annette made our stay incredibly enjoyable and relaxing. Truly felt like I was visiting extended family, which is quite a comfortable feeling for two work-weary travelers trying to sneak in a relaxing weekend. Stayed in the Captains Quarters suite - a nautical-themed spacious, quiet room with a king bed, sofa, tv, dvd player, a/c, working fireplace, couch, kitchenette, and plenty of natural light. The bathroom was amazing - heated towel rack and an easy-to-operate 2-person steam-room with at least a dozen shower heads (and radio!). Breakfasts and tea were absolutely delicious. The gardens were beautiful. We didn't want to leave at the end of our stay - but definitely will be returning guests on our next visit to Camden.

Room Tip: All rooms were great, but if you're the type that really wants to spread out and likes privacy...

We prefer to stay at small inns and B&B's, and travel quiet a bit. This is, by far and according to all measures, the best inn we have ever stayed at. The hosts are warm, welcoming and exceptionally thoughtful. The room was charming and clean and the housekeeping top notch; there was an AC and TV, modern conveniences not always available but much appreciated. The location was ideal for walking to town, and there is off-street parking. Best of all - the delicious, thoughtfully prepared breakfasts: the hosts were attentive to my dietary requirements and their adaptions were exceptional. Highly recommend.

Had an opportunity to stay at the Blue Harbor Inn for one evening. It was within walking distance of downtown Camden also had a small convenience store (Grab and Go) across the street if you need sundries. We stayed in room 6 which is on the first floor of the main home facing the street. We did not have any issues whatsoever with traffic noise, Camden is a peaceful little town so there is not much commercial car traffic though. Jeannette was wonderful to work with, she was a gracious hostess who looks after her guest. The B&B is nice based on the price point, sure there are nicer places which will cost more however for a short stay, it's fine. The high point was the delicious pancakes and yougart whereas the low point was the small shower in room 6, even my wife who is 5'4" thought it was too small. Overall a nice place which would be nicer if updated.
