Pleasant and friendly landlady but there are several areas that need attention:
hygiene - the room was not ensuite and there were hairs in the bath, the shower was rather weak and generally I felt the bathroom was in need of a good clean;
room - the door lock was very stiff and I had to get my husband up in the night to unlock the door to go to the lavatory;
breakfast - fried egg tasted of burn, there was no choice of bread, the tomatoes were served cold, the bacon was thin and we were expected to share the pot of coffee. I would not describe it as 'hearty';
value for money - the B&B website says £65-75 per night but we were charged £80 that we felt was a lot for a non ensuite room with no tea making facilities.
It did feel like staying in someone's home. The room did have a dressing gown and there was ample parking.
