My teenage daughter and I stayed here at the Piccadilly Apartments on Gover whilst in Adelaide for Bon Jovi, I was overwhelmed at the welcoming attitude of the Gentleman that took my booking over the telephone and was very thorough in detail and communication and kept all of his communication with me as promised including all emails of discussions we had over the telephone

I had never stayed at this accommodation before let alone ever heard of it, and just by using the Internet fell over it, knowing nothing of what to expect, and only some pictures i seen i asked lots of questions and got exactly what i asked for, I loved the convenience it is 400 metres from O'Connell street within the centre of the Adelaide city, it is walking distance to buses, eateries, shopping, pubs/clubs and restaurants, it also is a stone throw away from a 24/7 service station of which the Adelaide Metro bus will drop you off

The street in leafy lined and very welcoming as is the entrance once inside, the room was self contained and had clean amenities and comfortable and spotless clean bedding, the room was self contained and came with cooking facilities as well, we were provided with a flat screen television/DVD a table/chairs for two, one Queen size and one single bed, plus a bar fridge with cafe style milk/coffee/tea/sugar, toilet rolls and sanitary bags included and more of the mentioned items were available upon asking

I loved the long hot shower and privacy between rooms, the rooms are close together as they should be when you pay for what you get, but we heard very little of nothing from the adjoining brick wall between rooms, and we just had a ball with the 24/7 convenience vending machine that allowed us midnight munchies and the ability to buy fresh water on the accommodation block,

We booked in at a time when renovations were well underway and even with an early start of some 8-8.30am from the contractors, we had no interaction with them but found them a hugely happy bunch and the entertainment was way out there, I found them very proud of their work achieved and enjoyed the time woken up to them in the mornings, ( I mean what single woman wouldn't)

My daughter and I were out alot everyday we were staying at the studio apartment, but having our one day down time gave us no complaints whatsoever about the time spent together in the room, for a short length of time (ours was 4 nights/5 days) we would gladly recommend this accommodation to any person wanting to stay a stone throw away from the city and all Adelaide has to offer, thank you very much for a pleasant stay :)

Room Tip: We stayed in a studio apartment if that helps, all rooms are non smoking, but smoking is catered for on the grounds outside, all apartments come with blockout blinds and privacy to window furnishings, that was all we cared about, a split system was working and well used in our room

Lovely place in a lovely street. The rooms are a little small, however, the comfy bed and powerful hot shower make up for it. Nicely renovated. Great check in service. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again

Stayed here for 2 weeks for study at Royal Adelaide Hospital. The location was great we could catch the Adelaide Connect free bus, the metro buses or walk to the city. It was within easy walk to supermarket and hundreds of great restaurants on O'Connell Street. The room was neat and clean with a working fully equipped kitchenette. Full laundry available and staff service was wonderful. Will be recommending to my colleagues who need to attend Adelaide and will be staying again when in Adelaide. Good luck with your renovations. It will be exciting to see how the place evolves.

I stayed here last night with my 5 year old as we had to check into hospital at 6:30 this morning for him to have his tonsils out. We chose Piccadilly as it's close to Memorial Hospital and was well priced and self contained. Not expecting much for $99 I wasn't surprised that the room was small, however it was unbelievably clean and had everything we needed. Fridge, TV/DVD, microwave, stove and oven, iPod dock, alarm clock, small dining table, queen bed and single bed...it was great! It was pouring rain when we pulled in and, with not a lot of space to park anywhere, I parked just across from the office where the manager came out and asked me to move as they had plumbers working, he asked my name and grabbed my key and met me at the room. Very friendly. The only downers were the neighbours smoking and chatting loudly right outside our door, and the smoke smell coming into the room and the contractors doing reno's across the way swearing a LOT as we were unloading the car, not caring that my very young son was in earshot of their f and c bombs. Other than that, I was very happy with the apartments and look forward to seeing it done up! Hopefully under better circumstances in future :)

Wow thanks for the positive review. I have made waves with the building contractor about the swearing of the tradesmen. I agree not acceptable, sorry I missed it on the day.

After having gearbox problems in Coober Pedy we had to do an unexpected side trip to Adelaide to get it fixed. Thought the Piccadilly Apartments was in a good area & walking distance to the city. We could not have chosen better. Anja & Greg were so welcoming and helpful and was pleased to have this side trip just for their hospitality. Thank you and good luck with your new renovations.
