“Totally Relaxed!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 June 2014

This is THE place to be for total relaxation. You are surrounded by padi fields and
very polite people at Sahaja & Sawah! We had a 3 bedroom villa which was spacious and clean. We were there with our 14 year old boy who is rather active. To keep him occupied, the manager from Sahaja recommended a tour such as horse riding, quart bike or road bike. We did 1 hour on each and it was great fun! But if you are not into any of these activities, you could just relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility and even a massage in your villa.
We will definitely be back!

Beautiful surroundings with wonderful views of lush paddy fields. Its the perfect place to be to experience authentic Bali. Away from the hustle and bustle of the normal tourist towns, but at the heart of how the locals live. Being here forces you to relax and switch off. Its the ideal place, especially if you do a multi destination trip. Spend several nights here and see all the local sites and experience some of the excursions, then going onto a beach destination, or vice versa.

Staff are polite, professional and wanted to please, and couldnt do enough.

Food was tasty and fresh. There is a local supermarket nearby if you need anything. Staff more than happy to help you organise and needs you may have.

Rooms were nice, clean and spacious. Looking forward to going back with friends at a later date.

Stayed there at 21st of May to 23rd May 2014 on a Groupon deal for 3d and 2n with another couple in their Sahaja Villa.

As it was my boyfriend's birthday, the team from the resort even prepared for us a cake and specially made our room extra pretty/

On first thought, it is pretty far and inconvenient but once we got to the resort, our worries were gone. It was beautiful and really relaxing to be within the rice fields as well as part of the villages.

On our 1st day there, we took a bike ride around the rice fields and cycled into the villages and roamed around and bought snacks from their stores. (There's a lot of these stalls in the villages) Then we had some food and drinks in their restaurant (it was good for value and had a great view of the mountains, villages, oceans and rice fields) and then proceeded to have our massage in their spa house. (Their spa therapist were excellent at the balinese massages).

You can also borrow their dvds from the front office to watch when it gets boring at night!

Sahaja Villa was really spacious and clean, very open-concept wise with lots of nature. We opened our eyes each morning to views of farmers on their rice fields hard at work.

You can even order your breakfast the night before and it gets sent straight to your villa the next morning! Talk about having great service!

Special thanks to Wina, Ayu and Gedeh(our driver) for making this trip so special and enjoyable with their impeccable service!!!

A wonderful property in the middle of the rice field between mountain and sea. Every body should experience the sunrise at Sahaja Sawah and a trekking early morning. A life experience in the real and authentic Bali. Nice welcome from the Sahaja Sawah staffs.. like at home..

Room Tip: If you like Bali you may experience few days at Sahaja Sawah, a paradise in the authentic Bali..

This is possibly one of the most beautiful parts of Bali you can find, it is away from the tourist traps taking approximately 1 hour from Kuta. We stayed here for 5 nights and it was bliss, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome by the staff and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms themselves are very comfortable and spacious and there is a fantastic infinity swimming pool.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were very helpful arranging activities for us. The food was nice and good value with the restaurant having a beautiful panoramic view of the ocean, ricefields and mountains in the background. We were also able to witness some of the most spectacular sunsets that Bali has to offer. We all can't wait for our next visit!

i have to say its my best staying villa after travelling to Bali 5 times.

Sahaja and Sawah is a perfect haven for relaxation and tranquillity with luxury private villa accommodation in Bali. In villa massage therapists are on call for total guest indulgence and tranquillity, and for the more energetic, hiking, cycling and visits to the lakes and volcano at Bedugal and the famed village of Ubud make for wonderful and exciting day trip excursions. The exceptional Spas of the Alila Villas Soori, Pan Pacific Niwana and golf course resorts and the colonial Canggu Club are only30 minutes away, and the many boutiques, restaurants and bars of Seminyak can be reached in just an hour for those wishing to pull themselves away on occasions for shopping and busy nightlife. The many miles of untouched beaches and coastline are but a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk from the resort.

The flagship Sahaja Villas are wonderful detached single storey luxury villas, each with a private natural stone swimming pool set within their own lush garden, affording incredible views over the rice paddy fields to the ocean. The Sahaja villas has 2 master bedrooms, large open plan lounge and dining/kitchen area. the duplex Sawah Villas overlook a spectacular 25 metre natural stone infinity swimming pool and onwards over the rice paddy fields to the ocean.

it really offers a wonderful vacation for couples, friends and families to see and experience the real culture of Bali and its beautiful countryside and people, in reach of Bali’s many popular highlights, but without the hustle and bustle of hectic streets and traffic in the more built up tourist areas.

For the value we gain is much more than what we paid.

Room Tip: Sahaja is the single family villa with 2 or 3 bedrooms. you have the most fantastic view looking ove...
