My mother, 2 sisters-in-law, and I (all from Arkansas) stayed in 2 adjoining rooms in the Pier at Smuggler's Cove Inn for an incredible 4 nights. WOW! What a view! I can't decide if sitting on the balconies drinking coffee in the morning was better, or sitting on our balconies with a glass of wine and watching the sunset was better. Fortunately, we got to do both! The rooms were clean and comfortable. It is an updated "vintage" hotel, and I think that added to the charm of our vacation. The complimentary breakfasts offered a variety of yummy foods and was a great way to save a little money on our trip. We were able to eat at the restaurant one evening, and had a delicious light meal to compensate for the gluttonous lunch we had in town earlier. They offer a pool and kayaks, and although we chose not to utilize them, we saw other people take advantage of them and seemed to have a great time.
I highly recommend staying at Smuggler's Cove Inn. In fact, it was a nice enough and peaceful enough place, that my mother is returning with my brothers at the end of next month!More
