We recently spent 3 days at the Days Inn, Watford Gap.
The good: the staff were friendly and helpful: there was no noise from the motorway.
The not so good: parking (disabled) was difficult: the rooms were tatty, but fairly clean: there were no spare duvets available (my hubby feels the cold and one duvet was not enough): the noise from other rooms, particularly the apparent elephants above us, was intrusive: finding your way in and out of the back way of the service area (perfectly legal for hotel residents), was pot luck as there were no instructions in the room or anywhere else we could find..
We would stay there again, but if you stop here you do get what you pay for - cheap and cheerful.
