We love Antonia's. We order pizza often and often get it to go. If we eat anywhere out then we show up when the doors open so the wait is very little, but that's just how we like to do it. We have enjoyed every meal we've ever gotten here. We have never encountered a bad waitress and we have never received the wrong check or bad service. Im sorry for the others that gave a bad review but we have nothing bad to say about the place. We dont think their pizza is dry at all. We love the food there. Infact, were eating there today.

This place looks like a hot spot, but it is because it is on the main street and one of the few places that appears to have quick service. What it amounts to is a average middle of the road pizza joint with very bad service and disorganized wait staff and a bad menu. The pizze is dry and looks like it has been sitting out for a while and the entrees like ravioli are covered with so much cheeze and herbs it is hard to know if there is any piece under all the additions. The food tastes bad and I have had better orders at a county fair with much better service. Skip this place unless you are so desperate for a meal you cant find another spot. Travel farther down the road and hit the other 5 restaurants in this town. As for this one, close it down and spare the tourists.

This is our second restaurant, and by all means it is above average; our prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is family friendly and classy and we are locally family owned with one us on site everyday! We have a full bar with specialty martinis and a great selection of draught and bottled beer. We offer a huge range of food in our menu that is NOT found is your average pizzeria. For example... fresh calamari, shrimp scampi, home made spanakopita, lasagna, tenderloin kebab dinners, crab melts, bruschettas, pepper shrimp alfredo, and baked haddock. Trained chefs on staff, serve safe certified. We welcome tourists and locals alike.

My family ate at Antonia's last night. Our waitress was nice and friendly, but nevertheless the service was terrible.

It took 50 minutes from when we sat down until our meals were served. We had been seated by a hostess and then apparently forgotten; and then after we ordered, it took forever for the food to arrive, a period during which we didn't see our waitress.

My husband ordered pasta with alfredo sauce and got marinara sauce; she offered to redo it for us, but because we had already been waiting so long, we told her to forget it. He had ordered a side salad with it, but it never arrived at all. I had a "grinder" sandwich that was truly terrible. Our son had a children's meal: pasta with very dry (almost inedible) meatballs.

When we asked for the check, the waitress brought over the wrong check (someone else's table). We had to wait another 5 minutes until she appeared again, in order to ask for the right check.

We then asked to have something taken off the check for all our troubles: a discount, perhaps part of the price of his incorrectly-prepared meal, anything. The waitress agreed and sent the manager over; he offered to redo the alfredo pasta dish for us "to go" but we are tourists staying in a hotel with no fridge or microwave; not to mention that we certainly didn't want to wait who-knows-how-long for it to be prepared! He then refused to take anything off the check for us.

It was a polite exchange, but he really handled the whole situation incredibly poorly. A small gesture would have convinced us that we just had a run of bad luck that night; but the way he handled the situation left me with the very strong impression that customers are not very important to the people at Antonia's.

There are so many fine restaurants in Freeport: My advice, DON'T go to this one!

I am writing as response to this terrible review at Antonia's pizzeria. Antonia's is a family owned and operated establishment where customer satisfaction is our up most priority. To get customer satisfaction we must provide quality food, a good atmosphere, and good service. Any one of those three can go wrong on any giving day and it my job to make the situation better and make the customer leave satisfied. As far as what this customer is stating in their review I can say that I looking back in my records to see who was responsible for handling this situation as it sounds this customer was not treated properly. There will be action taken and a solution found I am sincerely sorry to hear this review from one of my customers.
