Description: Our waitress forgot our coffee & lines were long for popovers/prime rib otherwise I would have given 5 stars for service/ambiance. This was our 2nd time. Celebrating my b'day weekend. We were here a year ago & absolutely loved it. The variety of food from lobsters, prime rib, eggs cooked in various ways, dansom plum champagne infused smoothie soup with creme with mint to the absolutely yummy chocolate decadence cake, blueberry pie & so many other desserts are only some of food served at this delicious Sunday brunch. We will definitely go there again next time we're in Freeport, Maine. It's in the Harraseeket Inn. I've had Sunday brunches at other 5 star hotels in USA including Hawaii, Europe, Japan & Canada but this brunch beats them all

“Outstanding”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 August 2014 via mobile

We always eat here when in Freeport, it's located in the Harraseeket Inn, and is farm to table preparation. The wait staff was wonderful, Alicia, and a new and very welcomed addition Jeff, the bartender made it a great evening. Don't miss this elegant restaurant when in Freeport it is the best.

“Sunday brunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 July 2014

We booked the Sunday brunch, as we were staying in the hotel. It was a very worthwhile thing to do. There was not only plenty of food, it was all very well prepared as well, ane for a more than reasonable price.

“Great breakfast and great lobster”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2014 via mobile

Stayed here for 4 nights. Breakfast included in room rate. Wonderful variety and plenty of gluten free choices. Everyday there was a variety of goodies to go along with the staples.
Afternoon tea was a delight! Best pastries I have had in a very long time, at meals, breakfast and tea time!!
Had dinner here with a group with BBQ ribs and Maine lobsters - all wonderful!! Desserts were incredible! Homemade Whoopie Pies ( with peanut butter filling ) and strawberry shortcakes. Staff wonderfully attentive! Definitely eat here when in Freeport!

“Worth the drive”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 July 2014

A foodies dream in a low key elegant setting.

The menu has something for everyone. They have the freshest ingredients and even the cherry tomatoes served alongside my scallops were a treat. We shared the trio of tapenade to start which had a different twist to the usual. One person in our party just wanted something very light to start and you can order fresh oysters by the piece, so it worked out perfectly. The mixed green salad with beet vinaigrette and ceasar salad were delicious. I highly recommend the seared scallops with creamed corn and a touch of cilantro. My friend raved about the lobster succotash and our other friend was pleased with the lamb as well.

My only complaint was that the desserts are on a separate menu, so I was not aware that they had souffles (one of my favorite desserts of all time) available. I assume that the strawberry rhubarb pie with homemade ice cream was delicious, since no one was offered a taste from the person who ordered it and there was not one crumb left.
