We have eaten at this restaurant many times in the past but have avoided it more recently. The avoidance was due to the menu and not too friendly atmosphere (regarding the interior) and lack of table space.

Our recent visit was quite a surprise. The menu has changed quite a bit for the better. Many more options are available for the diner. The building has been extensively remodeled along with the restrooms. It is hard to believe that this is the same building.

Our food was very good, good size portions. The wait staff was very friendly and ready to please. We will be back.

We have not been to this restaurant in many years, but due to an impending thunder storm we headed in to find many changes. First of all they changed their entry way, making it handicap accessible. Secondly, it is now a sit down restaurant where it used to be order at the counter and wait for your food. And lastly much needed renovations to give a fresh look to the place, including the bathrooms! The food was definitely improved as well!!

We stopped here for lunch on a recent visit to Freeport. They offer attractive indoor and outdoor seating. We sat indoors with few others as the day was nice. It is unclear as you come in if you are to seat yourself, be seated, or order at the counter and no one came up to greet us and explain the process. We stopped a waitress, and got a table. Management should clarify that process as it is offputting. From there on we had a delightful lunch. The food was fresh, attractive and tasty. The service was good and friendly. The prices were "Freeport", but what can you expect two blocks from Beans.

I most likely won't be coming here again. This part of Freeport is very touristy. Meaning, more money for less. You can get a bigger and better lobster roll for 60% of the price they sell it for here. I would go 10 minutes out of the area to any nearby restaurant or shack and get what you get here for much less. And the food will taste better. Over spiced, overpriced, nice atmosphere though. Service was good for me, but it wasn't packed. I think I know why. And it was a LOT of walking traffic outside.

First it was other customers that told us we had to find our own table and that there was one available upstairs. Not one person from the staff said a word. Then we sat down and waited...and waited. We felt like we had the plague - people that came in after us not only ordered, but were served before us. They were out of clam chowder, but the lobster bisque was good. Good potential - perfect location, but staff needs training and direction!
