The Oxford House, formerly the private residence of a wealthy family, has retained its old elegance and home-like atmosphere. It is beautifully maintained and has a gourmet dining room. The view from the back of the house is over a lush intervale with New Hampshire's White Mountains in the distance. The owners' attention to detail and concern for the comfort of their guests are unmatched. I strongly recommend this property.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back.

Wonderful host , hostess, and wait staff. Wedding rehearsal dinner on Friday eveing was beautiful, delicious, and a bargain for the high quality and presentation.. Family and friends took over the rooms upstairs that were so very comfortable and spacious.I can't wait to go back and treat myself to such fine hospitality .

We have been to the OHI before and knew what to expect with the food, rooms and service, only the best. But Natalie and Jonathan once again out performed themselves. For our 25th anniversary we booked the whole Inn and had close friends with us. From the moment we got here, to the special wild flower bouquet and chocolates in the room, to the special attention to our favorite app, shrimp and grits, everything was done as if we were VIP's. Both owners love what they do and it shows in the passion for the Inn and the special attention they give to everyone. We could not have planned a better 25th and are happy to have had Natalie & Jonathan be a big part of it! Come, stay the weekend and we promise you will feel the same, you may even convience them to open a bottle of wine with you around the campfire and tell a few stories!! LOVE IT!

My family had a great couple of nights at the inn. From the comfort of this inn, to the owners hospitality and the great food and drink in their very cozy pub our experience could not have been better. We are pretty picky when it comes to quality food and I will say without reservation that the food is top notch and rivals some of Bostons best restaurants. They actually have maple syrup for breakfast which comes directly out of a Maple tree on their property. One warning however to people with pet allergies like myself. They have 2 very big dogs that roam the house so if you have allergies to pets you might want to book elsewhere. I had one very tough night because of this.

OHIInnkeeper, Owner at Oxford House Inn, responded to this reviewResponded 2 March 2012

It was wonderful to have your family here with us- thank you for choosing to stay with us a second time! I would like to clarify for potential future guests- As mentioned in the above review, we do have two very friendly dogs that live in the inn, a Black Lab and an Alaskan Malamute, however they are not allowed in any of the guest rooms or dining rooms when people are eating, and upon request, we are happy to contain them to our personal quarters. That being said, I would agree that those with severe dog allergies may be more comfortable lodging elsewhere.
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience here with others!

We've stayed at Oxford House several times, Johnathan and Natalie continue to improve the property and the food just keeps getting better! We had a wonderful stay, fantastic breakfasts to match the views, and a really 5 star dinner. Close to North Conway, quiet, great innkeepers, inparalleled food. Oxford House Inn continues to be one of our favorite retreats....

Room Tip: We stayed in their Porch Room and it was lovely. We've stayed in 3 or the 4 rooms over the last few years and enjoyed them all, and their uniqueness.
