This past July was the third year in a row that we have stayed at Wilson Pond Camps . Being from Texas and not knowing the region very well, we stayed at several places the first year with only 3 days at WPC. We immediately booked 2 full weeks for the next summer. And then the next. We have stayed in Salmon Pond Lodge each time and we love it. We can't wait to get back each year for the peace and quiet and the good visiting with Bob and Martine.

Husband and I spent 3 nights here in Sept. I agree with hleokaren nice enough but pricey. Cabins are very small, there were just 2 of us and that is really all the small space could handle. Hard to even turn around in shower stall. Know you must bring own linens and towels. kitchen was well stock with dishes, pots and pans. these are NOT housekeeping cabins as you are excepted to take out your own trash and clean up everthing you use. The area is beaitful and nights were cool. No air conditioning. Rented canoe for 30 dollars for the day, wish we could have only payed for an hour. Owerall stay was nice.

My husband, my daughter and I spent a few days in one of the cabins this past July. The innkeepers were nice enough and the cabin was quaint/rustic. My family rented a boat and kayaks for our stay. Overall our stay was ok...a little pricey for what we got.

If your staying in Greenville ME, or looking for a Maine getaway, Wilson Pond Camps is the place to stay! We stayed here last summer for a week and had such a good time that we decided to come back for another week. Our stay this time was even better than the last. We stayed at their "Top Secret" Cabin in the middle of July. Temperatures were pleasant and very comfortable. Water temperatures were nice for swimming. We did and saw so much. Fishing was fantastic, My wife and two girls 11 and 13, and I caught trout, bass, sunnies, and chub right off the dock! We paddled all over the lake, had picnics on some remote islands, paddle up streams to see beaver dams, saw bald eagles every day, we saw moose on our way back to our cabin, swimming every day and of course bar-b-ques with campfires just about every night and so much more. The stars at night are incredible. Just lay on the dock at night and you would not believe the amount of stars that are up there. The cabin is located on a peninsula all by itself, the location is perfect and peaceful. This cabin is remote and you need to bring everything you need with you. The cabin has a lot of basic stuff you need already, so bring a little or bring a lot. They load up the boat with all your stuff and off you go. We brought our car with us so we could go to town for supplies if needed or go to a restaurant for a change (The Black Frog Restaurant is excellent). The hike from the car to the cabin is about 15 min and the drive to or from town is about 40 min. Cell phones work, no problem. Bob and Martine were excellent host as always! They are so nice, and will make your stay as nice as can be. Can't wait for our family to come back again. If your looking for a peaceful getaway in a cabin or a rustic log cabin look no further, this is the place to go !!!

I live in Quebec Canada and four of us went fishing on Moosehead Lake back in July. We stayed overnight at Wilson Pond Camps and were all very impressed with the place and the hosts from the get go. We highly recommend Wilson Pond Camps to anyone looking for a place to stay in Greenville whether for a day or a month.

What a beautiful place!
We stopped here on our honeymoon, and didn't want to leave!! The cabin we stayed in was spotless. Bob and Martine do a great job and are wonderful people. They will help you find recreational activities and place to eat.
Cannot wait to return back to Wilson Ponds!!

Just back from a perfect two-week stay at Wilson Pond Camps. We've made it to WPC five straight summers and last fall we spent a long weekend. The location is incredibly beautiful and the property and cabins are meticulously maintained (though nothing feels fussy). Owners Bob & Martine are no small part of what makes Wilson Pond Camps truly wonderful; they are friendly, generous with their time and extensive knowledge of the area, and dedicated to making sure that every guest has a great visit. We've stayed in four of the eight cabins; we have our favorites, but there aren't any we wouldn't be happy to stay in again. Each cabin is comfortably furnished, well stocked with kitchen utensils, and each has a wood stove for chilly Maine nights. Most cabins have screened porches, private docks, and great views up the pond. We swam and kayaked from our private dock, spent afternoons reading in Adirondack chairs overlooking the water, and watched night fall and the abundant stars come out.
