“The Chowder might be good -”
Reviewed 10 July 2013

The fish was rubbery. The "baked" potato had been never been baked or steamed but somehow got hot, hard, and brown. This was a Sunday evening so maybe they were serving leftovers.

“Nice Quiet Place, Historic Feel”
Reviewed 9 July 2013

A neat restaurant, looks like it may have been an old bank or something. The place was empty when we went, but it was a Monday night. Waitress was very friendly and did a good job. I had the lobster roll, my son the fried seafood platter, and son-in-law the baked stuffed haddock. We all liked our meals. A little pricey, but it was fresh seafood. A good selection of local beers also.

“First time”
Reviewed 24 June 2013

We admit that we arrived in mid-afternoon, with few clients present. The service was friendly though a bit slow. We expected more from the seafood - my buttered scallops needed more zip.

“Pass it by!”
Reviewed 2 June 2013 via mobile

Best thing about lunch was the server, Zoe, who was very attentive. I ordered caesar salad and a shrimp cocktail. The salad was fine. The 5 shrimp were large but warm, they weren't watery but had a slight metallic taste. Sent back and had a piece of grilled haddock instead. It was edible. Husband had lobster chowder. He said it was good and it had a lot of lobster in it. He ordered scallops and it came with a baked potato, dish of corn kernels and 2 packaged soft rolls. The potato was not fresh. He said it was just ordinary. Would not return.

“Great food, fun live music”
Reviewed 16 May 2013

Get the stuffed haddock--yummy! Good selection of local beers and comfy atmosphere. Right on the edge of Hollowell, so take a walk after dinner and enjoy some of the town.
