Randee and Norm are wonderful hosts and make you feel immediately welcome. The rooms are lovely and very relaxing. After several visits, we feel like family. They are "dog-friendly" in every sense - a lovely fenced-in area, treats in jars in the kitchen and all manner of information on where you can go with your dog. Our Border Collie, Scout, can be a handful, but they accept that a dog will be a dog and have never made us feel that he is "too much".
As far as breakfast is concerned...amazing. Randee goes out of her way to make sure you are happy and stuffed! My "significant other" is a vegetarian and Randee delights in coming up with creative (and delicious!) ways to adapt whatever she is making.
I always love arriving there - and, at the end of our stay, I always hate to leave.

Serena (my four legged mistress) had an outstanding visit. The yard and lodging are perfect for those of us who insist on traveling with our dogs. The hosts are make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. It was especially helpful to learn first hand all the places that Serena and I would be welcome. All in all an excellent experience. We can't wait to return next summer

We discovered Houndstooth Inn in 2006 and have been returning every year since. I have never stayed in a B & B that was so perfect in every way. The Perkins' are hosts extraordinaire, Randee serves the most delicious breakfast! Whether you are traveling with your pet or not, I highly recommend you visit Houndstooth Inn in Kennebunk. I guarantee you will return!

We recently spent a night at the Hounds Tooth Inn during a multi-day road trip during which we stayed exclusively at dog-friendly B&B's (we were travelling with our furry little buddy). The Hounds Tooth Inn was hands-down the best of the bunch.

The innkeepers are exceptionally dog-friendly. Among the first things they did upon greeting us was take us around to the fenced-in area so our dog could roam off-leash while they showed us an area map and pointed out all the dog-friendly places we could visit with our buddy. The dogs were welcome everywhere in the inn save for the kitchen, for obvious reasons. The kitchen was, however, stocked with treats for our four-legged friend. If you're travelling with a dog there really isn't any reason to go anywhere else.

Aside from all the dog-friendliness, this is still an exceptional inn. The rooms were amonth the most spacious of any B&B I've stayed at, pet-friendly or not. The wireless Internet access came in very handy. Our hosts were extremely gracious, and the cooked breakfast in the morning was both creative and tasty. The inn was just a few minutes' drive from the beach and the main business district. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hounds Tooth Inn. It exceeded all of our expectations. The rooms, breakfast and grounds were exceptional. We also appreciate how the innkeepers, Randee and Norm, went out of their way to make us and our dog feel welcome. Our dog, Maggie, is a rescue who had been abused and as a result has issues with some men and other dogs. Randee and Norm are well-informed about fearful/reactive dogs and made us all feel completely comfortable- from letting us eat our breakfast away from the other dogs, to suggesting places to go in the area that our dog would be comfortable at. Maggie had a wonderful time and we will certainly be back. If Maggie could talk she would say, "This was the trip of my lifetime!"

It was a stroke of luck to find the Hound's Tooth Inn. The owners are two of the nicest and accomodating people you will ever meet. They truly extend themselves to ensure that your stay is perfect. They know the area very well and you can absolutely rely on their advice about where to go and where to eat. Randee is a fantastic cook and I already miss her btreakfasts. The inn is beautifully done inside and out. Our dogs loved their stay and they are eager to return which we will all do in late July. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE......joel Warwick,RI

This is our third stay in 2 years, and we will be returning again and again! What a wonderful visit - this is a delightful and comfortable place to stay, with easy access to all the area attractions. The dog welcome is warm and genuine, with every convenience fido could ask for. Most important, Randee and Norm look after you like family!
A top dog review from us again!!
