This is an easy place, what we'd call a gastropub in the UK. A great advantage is that almost all of the Kennebunk reataurants close their kitchen about 9pm, but those that are bars as well stay open, and that meant we could eat here at (for us Brits) a more civilized hour, and we did, three times. We'd recommend the sharing platters, especially the seafood one. Salmon mousse, fantail shrimp, white anchovies, tuna tartare etc meant we could both indulge our favorites. But you need to check out the noise levels. On two nights it was quiet enough, but on our last night the boozy crowd who were on the outside tables came inside, and we could barely hear ourselves eat! We think a quiet meal means going about 9pm on a Tuesday! And it is very much worth it.
