We wanted to change up our New Year’s Eve.
We found the Kennebunkport Inn, and they had put together an evening with a very fine diner and wine experience that lead to their own piano bar for the evening. It was just what we wanted. (The diner was really fantastic!)

The Inn, is an older-historic Inn, plenty of history. The building design itself was from an older era – but kept up very well. The staff was second to none. They were constantly trying to make our experience better. The entire complex was decorated for the entire holiday season – and with our recent snow – looked beautiful. The inside of the Inn – was ready for New Year’s Eve – right down to the staff wearing party hats – as we checked in.

I am very familiar with New England and we had been by this Inn many times – now I know what is behind the big front door. Our New Years Eve was just what we wanted – something special, yet not crazy.
Thank You – Kennebunkport Inn – for a magical 24 hours -

Thank you Bob J for your review. We are so happy to hear about your wonderful New Year's Eve experience, here at the Inn as well as our restaurant, One Dock. We have a fantastic staff that goes above and beyond. It is our goal to exceed your expectations, not just meet them. We are so happy that you chose to walk through our "big door." We hope we can welcome you back for more memorable trips here!

Well we've stayed in Maine quite often, but we have never stayed in Kennebunkport. The Kennebunkport Inn itself is right in a beautiful little town and it is within walking distance of all the great little shops. When we checked in the front desk person was very informative and even upgraded us to a nicer room with no upgrade fee. They even have breakfast that is included with your room rate how great is that. They also have a restaurant, but we didn't have a chance to check it out I do hope that we will next time. So if your ever in Maine give the Kennebunkport Inn a try it's worth a visit.

Room Tip: I would try to stay in the main part of the Inn.

Thank you DBG1010 for your review. Kennebunkport is a lovely little town and we are so happy that you decided to vacation with us! The Inn is located right in the center of town, walking distance to all that Kennebunkport has to offer. We are delighted that you enjoyed your complimentary upgrade. Next time you are here, you will have to have dinner at our on sight restaurant, One Dock. The food is delicious and creative. We also have entertainment in the pub on weekends! We hope we can welcome you back soon.

The inn was so comfortable and the service was great with very nice and happy people. We had dinner there and was treated with the delightfully talented pianist Dennis ( failed to get his last name) who is referred to as their savant. He doesn't read music but blew us away with his talent.

Thank you DRkatsmith for your review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. The entertainer in the bar was Dennis Caraccio. He is quite talented and fun! You will have to come back and join us when he is on the schedule or one of our other fabulous entertainers. We hope to see you again soon!

WE stayed at the Kennebunkport in for 3 nights in October. It has to be the BEST INN we have ever stayed in. Food was great and the front desk people were very helpful. Included was the breakfast which was delicious!! I would HIGHLY recommend this Inn

Stayed 2 nights as part of a New England tour and on arrival you think this is going to be great. Hotel well decorated and inviting.
Welcome was good with cookies, cake and coffee provided, pleasantly surprised to find that breakfast was included in the room rate.
We were told that evening meals here were exceptional and highly rated but they were not anything special in our mind and selection not brilliant. Had lobster one night as it came highly recommended but thought it was over rated and expensive at over $35 each.
Our room was excellent except it overlooked the outside seating area and you could hear all the conversations from below and the noise from those folks who stayed out there until late (after 11.00pm), would advise ask for a room not overlooking this veranda especially if staying in summer months.

Thank you Robert W for your review. We are very sorry to learn that you were not happy with your dinner at One Dock nor the location of your guest room. Our chef strives to create meals that are creative, delicious and affordable. Our lobster dishes are competitively priced for the area. We are disappointed to hear that you weren't fond of the menu selection. Guest feedback is very important to us. We will certainly take this into consideration when we are preparing our winter menu. We would also like to apologize for the noise on the sundeck. We do our best to combat outside noise later in the evening. Sometimes, with our intown location, noise can be challenging. We are aware that this can be an issue and are taking all appropriate steps so other guests aren't bothered in the future. We do have a variety of rooms to offer. If you ever return to Kennebunkport, we would be happy to reserve you a quieter room in the main house.

Stayed here as a place to rest and go into mountains to see leaves turning but we found it to be so charming and cozy we extended our stay and never went to the mountains. The room was very comfortable. Not like a 4-5 star hotel but remember this is an old Inn. It's like going to grandmas house. Welcoming, safe, all the food you can eat and feel absolutely spoiled! What a respite!!!! The restaurant was very good and they have a great bar with live entertainment on weekend nights. The breakfast was awesome!!!! The location was premo. Kudos to the staff. Be sure to enjoy the deck with lovely fireplace! Walk to everything!!!! I'm definitely returning here.

Thank you leatVeggies for your review!! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your trip with us so much that you stayed longer than you planned! Our bar is a lot of fun on the weekends. The live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights certainly adds some excitement to the Inn. Our sundeck is Kennebunkport's best kept secret. The outdoor fireplace, fleece throws and heaters make it a desirable location on chilly fall nights. Thank you again for your kind words. Please come back and see us soon!
