“Septemberfest 1st week of September”

My husband and I went to the Septemberfest at the Kittery Trading Post the 1st week of September. This is an annual event. There were demonstrations, drawings, tent sale, vendor booths, and sale items throughout the store. We especially enjoyed the group talk on deer hunting. We went both Saturday, September 7th and Sunday, September 8th. A great outing.

“1st but not last visit”

We were told that we may find some deals on fishing gear at the Kittery Trading Post, well that was an understatement. We we amazed from the start with the size and layout of the store. The gun room was beyond belief and took hours to go through .We went to the main floor and my wife was beside herself with the deals on footwear. When we finally got to the basement and the fishing supplies it exceeded all expectation. We were able to buy tackle for about 50% of what we would normally pay. The sales staff went above and beyond the see that we were well looked after . Even check out was a very pleasant experience. We are planning a November return trip already

“A fine shopping experience.”

Though there are many "premium" outlet malls in the area, The Trading Post, with its' indoor and outdoor venues, is certainly a "diamond in the rough," and definitely, a place to consider when looking for everything from a to z, especially when hunting for souvenirs that will not have you go broke...

This place is massive. If they don't have it here, you won't find it anywhere as far as sporting goods and outdoor equipment go. It is extremely difficult maneuvering around without losing your sense of direction at times. There were a few reasonably priced items available but overall, everything else seemed to be quite pricey.

“Not a bad place to spend an hour or two”

Lot of outdoor items. Much like cabelas. Some of the sale items were a good but. The tent items are either junk or completely overpriced items then offered at half off which is still more than cabelas plus shipping.
