Bray's is a family favorite for us - a great micro-brew pub with lots of beer selections on tap (their own as well as others), and a variety of menu items that exceed the traditional brew-pub line up. The scallops in Gran Marnier cream sauce is to die for! And they have a fair amount of vegetarian selections for those members of our family who go meat-less. Service is always friendly whether we're at the bar or at a table. Just a great place for a casual dinner.

First of all, the chef makes the best soups. The meals are very generous and always delicious. The servers are always friendly and very accommodating. The menu is full of wonderful items. The atmosphere is very cosy. We usually take home soup to go and the remaining dinner which is always nice for a next day lunch.

Bray's is an old home renovated into a bar/pub. The bar area is darker and livelier, but we were seated in what might have been an old bedroom, off the main foyer (where waitstaff was chatting among themselves and failed to notice us standing around and waiting to be seated.....). I love older homes and the potential for re-purposing an renovating interesting architecture and vintage furnishings, but this space was stuffy and uninspired. The walls were adorned with amateurish art, (for sale, by the way), but the menu looked promising and we were hungry.
This is a brew pub....so hubby chose the Songo Lock Scotch ale, which arrived in a glass slightly larger than a brandy snifter, with the head taking up more than half of the glass. He quipped, "I wonder if they bring me the rest of the beer later on?"
We really wanted bar food, but there were dinner items on the menu, and the waitress was very patient. Hubby had a hamburger, which he pronounced cooked to perfection and truly was the highlight of the meal. However, you get charged for every additional item....onions, cheese, etc., are additional. Really? WIth that he ordered onion rings (additional) which were incredibly greasy.
I had the chicken quesidilla. That's all that comes on the plate...no rice, no beans, no nothing else. It was your average, pub food fare, and not very spicy, so maybe it would appeal to a greater audience. Service was fine, we did have to wait a bit for our check, but the food was only OK, and the atmosphere really lacked. We noted on the way out that sitting at the bar might have been a better choice. Prices were ok, but we were disappointed with the portions and the atmosphere. With all the other options in Naples, we won't be back.

Went with family and beer geek friends to this place for lunch. The beer selection is excellent, the server was very knowledgeable of all the beers, and the food was well-executed pub fare. We were there off-season when many places are closed, and can imagine that the place is jammed in-season. Check out their website: www.braysbrewpub.com

We presented the server with a Maine Public Broadcasting Benefits card, In the published book that comes with the card, Brays offers a two for one meal anytime. If you are an MPBN member check your book.

I put the card on the table up front so the server could confirm that the card was still accepted. After receiving our meal of baked fish with potatos, asparagus and the fish toppped with gruyere and spinach (excellent) and NO rolls , I mentioned this to the server. He apologized and made no effort to get rolls.. For $17 we got a plate of food. Nothing like salad or rolls.

Now on checkout the server informed us that the benefit was only good on the bar menu. We had not been appraised of this before and had ordered from the dinner menu. The book from MPBN does not mention a limited menu.

We live in the area, have several friends who support public TV and radio and have told them of our experience.

Were it not that the one dish was really good, I would give the dining experience a one dot.
