The Inn was recommended to us by a friend primarily because of the restaurant. Our room was small and unappealing because of the wool bedding in the 100 degree heat. They provided a very small fan, about 8 inches in diameter. The Inn can't control the weather, but cooler bedding for the summer would be recommended. They also booked a rehearsal dinner and party with many people on our second evening This party overtook the entire restaurant, living room area, foyer and yards. In addition, the guests filled the inn. The place was so noisy with music and people everywhere. We had no place to go, so had to stay in our room after we returned from dinner. We were the only non-wedding guests staying there that night. They knew when our reservation was booked, that they had this party and did not contact us to ask us if we still wanted to stay there. On the positive side the young lady managing the inn was extremely pleasant and helpful. Also, the breakfast was delicious, the best part of our stay. We were told that we would receive a 25% credit for that day, and we are waiting for our credit card statement to see if we do.That could not possibly make up for the miserable evening we spent there.

We just returned from a weekend stay here and we're really glad we selected The Bradley Inn. We enjoyed the rooms, the grounds, and the food. Beth & Warren (owners), Peke, and the rest of the staff were amazing. They were all extremely friendly and accommodating.

Room Tip: All rooms in the Carriage House are very nice

The prices and setting are all high-end but the food is not and the service, while good is slow. With dinner entrees in the mid to upper 30s you expect a certain level of quality. two out of three of our dishes were overcooked and tasteless. Would not return ever!

When choosing an inn one often needs to sacrifice comfort and modern amenities in order to get charm and location. The Bradley Inn is an exception. A meticulously maintained Inn and grounds, with modern bathrooms, free Wi-Fi and extremely comfortable room furnishings. And that is just the beginning, they serve up gourmet meals at breakfast (included free) and dinner. Located in New Harbor, you’re surrounded by one of the prettiest spots in ME.

This is worth the ride.

This was a great place for us to vacation. Slept with windows open every night (there is no AC)
and it was heavenly. The loop road in front of the Bradley is just spectacular by the sea. The light house and rocks were amazing too. Even thought the Inn is a little on the pricy side, it is worth it. There were a few service issues with food. Breakfast coffee served at 7am was cold the first morning. On another morning there were several bread items but no butter on the table.
Dinners here are first class, just be patient.

Room Tip: We stayed in 305 and I think the cross breeze in that room is the best

After many years of visits to the Bradley Inn, we're long overdue on adding our voices to others who love this gem of a B & B in Pemaquid. We own an undeveloped parcel of land in the area and take an annual trip to check on it and do a little clearing. The highlight of the trip ( and, mostly, the reason for it) is the "need" to stay at the Bradley. We very much enjoy coming in early May when the Inn reopens and their season is just beginning. Although there are usually only a few guests at that time, we are treated with the same service and attention that I imagine distinguishes this accommodation from others that we visit throughout the year. The bar is warm and inviting. We always meet the most interesting people there. The dining room is superb by anyone's standards and is busy with locals in the off-season. Beth and Warren (the owners), who you can't help but meet, are masters at ensuring your comfort. Their breakfasts are lovely and adapted to each person's preferences. We know and love the Pemaquid area and never tire of several walks a day. Even after so many years, we are always discovering new places to visit on the peninsula. We are especially looking forward to our next stay and the chance to see the other venture that Beth and Warren have undertaken - the revitalization of a restaurant near the historic fort that they were opening this summer season. While we feel like we're The lord and lady of the manor in the off season, I'm certain the staff at the Bradley Inn makes everyone feel that way, even when crowded.

Room Tip: We enjoy the privacy of the separate cottages.

During our recent visit to the Pemaquid area, my husband and I spent our last evening there dining at the Bradley Inn. The entire experience was great. We were seated off by ourselves, away from larger groups...we greatly appreciated that! Our server, Katrina, was very attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. She gave us dinner suggestions when we asked.
We ordered wine, appetizers, salad, dinner, dessert, and coffees. Wow...everything was delicious! We ordered a bottle of wine from the pleasant wine list. It was very much to our liking and paired well with our dinner selections. The appetizer of elk, duck, and sausage was unique...and good. First time for us to try elk. The crab cake appetizer was very good as well. The salads consisted of greens, strawberries, and more with an herb vinagrette and were delicious. I had the halibut with chorizo and clam sauce along with garlic mashed potatoes. Wow! Can't wait until I can eat it again on our next visit! My husband had the sea scallops with polenta. He said they were delicious - moist and cooked just right. Dessert consisted of tiramasu and lemon pudding - a fabulous end to a wonderful dining experience.
Pros of this restaurant: our waitress, Katrina, wait staff who helped Katrina, and the food!
Cons: didn't have our reservation written down, but we were seated right away!
