I have been to many B&Bs over the past 7 years of travel and never felt so "confined" before. We were told breakfast is served at 8:30. Period. Not between 8 and 9...just 8:30. I didn't like having this kind of restriction on "my" vacation. One especially wants some leeway when its raining and there's nothing to do in the town. Who needs to get up early? But up at 7 we were. Then we had to leave by 9:30 because we felt like we were invading their privacy. Its a very family-feel. We felt almost guilty coming back at 5:00 to rest a bit before dinner, like we were disturbing them. Also, there was not enough room in the shower to turn around. We are small people and couldn't even lift our elbows in the shower to wash our hair. Same holds true with the sink area. You have about a 30 inch area to work in (this is the London room). On the good side, the owners do their best to make it a good experience. The breakfasts were delicious and they didn't skimp. I think the room was overpriced for what it was.

When one wants to describe the perfefct B&B this is it! The accommodations are wonderful and close to a charming village with great food. Their prepared breakfasts are the best I've ever had..and always different and unique. The Owners Karen & Dave Bragg are wonderful hosts and great at giving you directions to wherever you want to go in Maine. Could not recommend a nicer getaway!

We had an enjoyable stay at the Flying Cloud. The innkeepers were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were quite nice. We would recommend this B and B to friends.
