With no development on most of the beach, it's a pleasure to relax on the fine, fine sand and enjoy the company of family & friends with the ocean in front of you and the dunes and river behind you. Perfect beach for body-surfing, boogie-boarding, playing bocce, volleyball & paddle ball. And best of all, most of the people are friendly and nice!

This area is great fun, but on this busy weekend we found parking a challenge. Totally worth it, though!

Our husbands like to avoid shopping, so we leave them at a bar/restaurant and walk around the shops in the area. There are so many different types of shops, all quaint and fun to go through. When you are finished, head back to the restaurant for a drink and some food and it makes a wonderful day!

Beautiful, powdery, sandy beach. No seaweed, no rocks, just clean beaches. Plenty of comfy chairs to enjoy the view. Restaurants to eat.

Super clean beach with sand hard and white, this is the place to do it all, really a great place to swim, sunbathe, or sit and people-watch. Nice walk afforded if you choose, and close to town and all the shops. Only downside is the expensive parking...
