Decided on a last minute trip to Ogunquit and found Parsons Post House Inn with one room available. The Inn is clean, fresh and all recently renovated. I really liked the white linens and no-frills room.

The location is incredible - minutes walk to the beach, surrounded by shops and restaurants and a nice little patio area to enjoy your coffee on in the morning. If you are looking for a more filling breakfast than just the little muffins- take the walk (10 mins) to Amore. It is worth it!

We'll be back for sure.

Room Tip: Room #4 is on the ground floor with windows that open to the parking spots. If you plan to sleep pas...

Courtesy, friendliness & efficiency are enough introductions, which certainly apply to Parsons Post House Inn management. A full-of-humour telephone arrangement with Terri says it all. Everything else just falls into place, which includes the wonderful location, the newly spruced up renovations and care given to details.
If in doubt ... don't hesitate ... just GO ! and ENJOY !

Traveling thru Ogunquit we noticed a vacant sign and thought we's ask about a room as it was so convenient to everthing we wanted to do. As soon as we walked thru the door, the hospitality was wonderful and friendly. It was like dropping in to visit family. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. Relaxful to sit on the porch outside or inside and talk with the owners and fellow" vacationers". The muffins and cookies were unexpected treats. The antique coffee cups were delightful. Even though it was only one night, it truly felt like home and we've already booked a return trip for a longer stay. Looking forward to seeing our new found friends again!

Room Tip: Owners are planning to extend the outside patio area around the front of the Inn.

The new owner Frank has done a fantastic job of renovating the Parsons Post since he purchased it recently. We were originally planning to go in August but when we went up to see it and heard about the Ogunquit fireworks on July 4 we immediately called our friends and booked the suite. The suite was lovely and the king size mattress was the best I've ever slept on. The inn is located near everything. We had a clear view of the fireworks on the beach from the patio of the inn. The muffins are homemade every morning and they just keep on coming and coming. Terry , Frank's sister, is the receptionist and is a wonderful asset to the inn. She is helpful and will call and make reservations to the area restaurants for you.

Room Tip: The suite is great for two couples coming to stay at the same time

The owner and receptionist were absolutely great, helped with pointing out things to do and see, so you didn't miss anything.
The room was fantastic, neat and clean. Freshly done over, a thumbs up for presentation, with nice touchs for decor.
Way to go!

What an amazing location, beautiful views and close to everything. What wonderful care we were given. The fresh mornnig muffins were a lovely touch and we really appreciated and enjoyed them. Iloved the sitting porch with ocean views and rocking chairs, so peaceful. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and well appointed. I wish I could have stayed longer.

We stayed at the Parsons Post House Inn which was also our fist time in Ogunquit. We couldn't have been more pleased then with the location, hospitality and convienence. There was a discrepency with the bill and when it was brought to the managements attention, they fixed it and made it good. That was very appreciative and shows the kind of care they take.
