What a gem of a place. I'm only scared that this place will get TOO popular and become unavailable for summer getaways. The rooms seemed to have been recently renovated.
Everything is very bright, clean, and fresh. So much better than you would expect for a small beach town. There are several common areas including a deck and front facing porch. And it's in the heart of town! Highly recommended.

We had an excellent 4th of July at the Parson Post Inn in Ogunquit. The location is excellent with easy access to restaurant s and the beach. Laura and John provide baked goods, coffee, water, beach chairs and towels. For July 4th, we had a lovely holiday spread with vegetables and homemade artichoke dip, and delicious lobster macaroni and cheese. Despite the rainy weekend, we were warm and cozy in this friendly Inn, staying safe and dry as we watched the stormy ocean from the upstairs porch. Highly recommend this Inn for couples and families!

Ogunquit is a fun place to stay, this made it better
Wonderful hosts who can't do enough for you and really do make you feel as if you are in a home from home. Anything you want just ask and they'll provide - bottle openers, wine glasses, plates, cutlery - no problem.
Bedroom spotless and well tended - a little on the small side with limited storage - but that didn't really matter, in part because everything else was so good about the place and in part perhaps because there is lots of sitting space throughout the inn where you can just relax, read, play board games or admire the views.
Breakfast is simple - muffins and coffee - but if you want more the store just down the road can provide take out fruit or even hot breakfasts which you can bring back and eat on the patio.
Another find that we'll be returning to if we are back in the area.

ps Staying here is not good for the waistline. Cookies and muffins are not only available for breakfast but also throughout the day. I defy you to go past them without picking one up!

We stayed for 2 nights at the Parson Post House and had an amazing experience. The rooms were very clean and seemed like newly renovated.(slightly small but cozy). The owners were very helpful and friendly, recommending places for dining and beach spots. The pricing for the stay was well below what the other places were charging and for what you received. Already planning another weekend get away in September with our extended family.

This was our first vacation with our nine-month old baby and it was perfect, in large part thanks to the owner Laura, the staff and their beautiful inn. We rented the penthouse at a very good price - which we highly recommend for families - allowing us to eat in and plenty of space for the baby. The renovations are very nicely done (wooden floors, full kitchen, 2 very comfortable bedrooms, bathroom with double vanity and great shower heads, a/c throughout), giving modern comfort while the inn preserves quaint charm. Very short walking distance to everything (beach, Marginal Way, Perkins Cove, restaurants) and they lend you all you need for the beach. What stood out most was how welcoming everyone was, always offering with a smile to help: from ordering food to getting our room ready earlier. And a big plus for Laura's baking talents, the daily sweet treats and coffee were perfect to start and end our days. We look forward to returning to Parsons Post House and will be recommending it to all our friends & family!

My wife and I had to travel to Ogunquit for a wedding and after doing a lot of research we chose to stay at the Parsons Post House rather than the large resort that had blocked-off rooms for the wedding guests. We were not disappointed with our choice. Parsons Post House has one of the best locations in Ogunquit, and is within walking distance of anywhere you'd want to go. We enjoyed being able to leave our car in their lot and walking to all of our destinations. It is owned by a young couple who are always present and very eager to help. The rooms are small and cozy but that's to be expected with a B&B. The place was extremely clean and gives daily maid service. The price was very reasonable (like I said, we did a lot of research). I wouldn't recommend this place for large groups or more than 1 or 2 children. But for a small group of adults, a couple, or a small family, Parsons Post is a great choice.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are about the same quality
