The first time I stayed at Meadowmere Resort, I was so impressed that I now return once a year, every year! It's a tradition for us - we love Maine, we love Ogunquit, and we love this place! I have gone with just my husband and other times with the family, including kids. It's really a place that is family friendly, but is also romantic for a weekend getaway with your loved one. The hotel staff are friendly, polite and helpful; the overall hotel is clean and they always decorate for the seasons/holidays, which makes it fun; the rooms are wonderful, tidy, and comfortable; and our favorite part is the indoor Roman Spa! It's so relaxing and never overloaded with people, so you aren't cramped and can sprawl out in the warm water. We have stayed in double rooms, a basic king room, and the in-suite jacuzzi room, which is our go-to; all of the rooms we've stayed in have been in the main building. We were amazed that we had a full sized room, with a doorway near the slider that led us up a couple stairs to the jacuzzi room - it's OWN room, built into the floor, and with high ceilings! Windows lined the top of the ceiling and had a fan to deliver a gentle breeze. It was totally unexpected, and blew our expectations away. The hotel is also within walking distance to their restaurant (right out of the front door) and another one right next to the property. If you like to walk, and don't mind taking a 10 minute stroll, you are right at the ocean and marginal way. It is a lovely area with tons of little shops, places to eat, and the beach is really nice. The views on marginal way can't be beat! Overall, I love staying at the Meadowmere Resort and absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Ogunquit.

Room Tip: I prefer rooms in the main building.

After spending Thanksgiving with my family further north in Maine, my fiance and I were looking for a place with charm & comfort to unwind for a couple days before going home. As first time guests this place was an incredible find!

We stayed in a south meadow king room, which was tastefully decorated and plenty spacious. The bathroom was small, but adequate. This room was super private, with only one room across the hall, no walls are shared with this room...you could hear elevator tones through the wall, but not so loud to really be bothersome. The balcony had a lovely view of the courtyard, hot tub and indoor pool, as well as main st. The bed was *very* comfortable.

We opted out of maid service for our 2 night stay via the do not disturb card. This was of course respected, and it was a nice touch that housekeeping left a courtesy call message to ensure our needs were met.

The pub is really charming and very cozy. We stopped in after dinner to have a few cocktails. The beautiful fireplace was lit and a singer set up in the corner providing great entertainment that fit the atmosphere. After our first round of drinks, we were informed that a busy holiday had depleted the supply of liquor we had ordered. Melinda was really accommodating and we had some great conversations. An overall great bartender and hostess. It was also nice to see her smiling face when we checked out. We were, however, pretty surprised and disappointed the pub was closed on Sunday.

The Roman Bath is fabulous. It was also conveniently located at the bottom of our elevator, so it was only steps away. Perfect temperature, plenty of room (this thing is huge!) and very clean.

This whole resort complex has that sprawling country inn feel, and was well cared for. No musty smells, all common areas as well as our room upon arrival were very clean. The grounds, lobby and pub were well groomed & beautifully decorated for winter and Christmas - we couldn't be happier we chose to spend our first getaway with Meadowmere at this time of year. We didn't even explore the whole place, they offer so much. Looking forward to making our stay here a holiday tradition!

My daughter and I wanted a "quick" one night getaway to somewhere close, and someplace that we had never been too. I googled Ogunquit, Maine hotels and discovered Meadowmere. What a gem!! Even though it was november, the grounds were immaculate as were the rooms. The rates were reasonable for what we wanted. Front desk was very friendly, as was Gary and Melinda(?) at the Meadow Pub. Thanks Melinda for our great pumpkin drink!! Marginal way is a short walk from the hotel. There is a restaurant next door, Jonathan's, which we ate at. Food was great! Can't wait to return with my husband for our 31st. wedding anniversary in May! Will take advantage of the spa when we return for sure!

Booked the Columbus weekend package, service was wonderful, excellent central location near all the attractions. Only thing is the pool water could have been warmer. It was decorated so beautiful for the fall, parking was right next to hotel and within walking distance of the Ogunquit Playhouse and Jonathan's restaurant, which is also highly recomended.

Dear d_beesley2013

Thank you for your review – and for joining us for Columbus Day Weekend!

It was our pleasure to welcome you for the holiday and thank you for the compliments on our popular holiday weekend package. The Eat Drink Be Merry is a long time guest favorite – especially for a long relaxing weekend. We are delighted that you had a great stay and appreciate the kind words about our service. It sounds like you enjoyed our seasonal decorations and our central location too. Please know that our pools are kept at 83 degrees and if that feels a bit chilly the Roman Spa is warmer alternative to unwind. We are so glad you enjoyed Ogunquit in the Fall and we look forward to your next trip!
