My husband and I stayed at the Meadowmere two weeks ago. As always, it was a wonderful stay. As I've said in my prior reviews, the hotel is spotless and the employees are friendly and helpful. I love the coffee maker in the room. They also have tea bags in the lobby area, if you so desire......and hot chocolate too!! With my crazy life, it was nice to just relax. There's plenty to do there. There's an indoor pool, indoor Roman Spa and an outdoor jacuzzi. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and a five minute walk to the Marginal Way. I walked the beach for two hours. Dress warm and you'll be fine. I didn't walk the Marginal Way this visit because it looked icy. We look forward to returning to the Meadowmere soon.

There aren't many resorts in the area that offer all the amenities Meadowmere does. You can even book on site massage appointments. All while being walking distance of ogunquit center. Great for a romantic or family get away. Go and enjoy.

We have stayed many times and are always pleased with the rooms, amenities and service. The staff are very accommodating and seem to really care that they are meeting your expectations. We just returned from one of the VIP weekends and feel it was such a great deal! We used the Jonathan's voucher given to us upon check in and had a wonderful dinner and breakfast there. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting southern Maine!

we went for a winter getaway. We stayed in the honeymoon suite for over $200 a night . The bathroom and the floor in the bathroom was freezing. The roman spa was dirty. The pub and grill was closed. No mention of this on this site or booking .com. The meals in the place next door ,which did not open until 4:30,were very pricey. You had to leave the building to get a coffee or tea. Would not go back

Dear John M,

It is with our apologies to respond to your posting and thank you for your business.

We are disappointed that our hotel did not meet your needs. Please be assured that our hotel’s website accurately reflects the hours of our hotel amenities -We work hard to maintain this resource for our guests. The off season hours reflect on the website that the West Meadow Pub is closed midweek. We certainly understand that preferences vary and that our independent family resort may not fit your needs. However, we wish the importance of an onsite pub was shared in advance rather than relying on a third party booking site – We would have happily found an alternative bar and share our off season hours accurately with you.

We understand that the safety of our guests is of utmost importance, especially in water areas. Each water area is maintained daily and we encourage all of our guests to report any amenity concerns to us promptly so that any concerns can immediately be addressed. While we regret that there were concerns during your stay, our hotel continues to receive numerous compliments on our customer service and maintenance from our many customers.

After learning of your concerns with the bathroom temperature, our Housekeeping Manager went to the room to assist in operating the heating unit. We were happy to hear from you during your stay that this concern had been resolved and are surprised to learn that concerns continued. We apologize that you found the marble flooring cold and would have been happy to offer additional assistance during your time with us.

Our guest rooms do feature in room coffee makers with decaf and regular coffee. Additionally we offer complimentary morning coffee and tea brewed by us and, although most guest choose to walk outside to the pub from the lobby, we would have been happy to direct you through the corridors had we known that this was a concern for you. Though Jonathan’s, which is directly next to the hotel, is a long time guest favorite, we also would have been happy to recommend a restaurant more comfortable for your price range. Ogunquit has wonderful dining choices year round to enjoy.

We hope you find accommodations in Ogunquit that suite your future vacation needs to the area.

Thank you for sharing your opinion.
