Simply a wonderful, relaxing place to stay. Everything is maintained beautifully, from the rooms to the property. The staff is top notch. A beautiful back lawn located right on Marginal Way with a spectacular view of the ocean. Wish I could spend the entire summer there!

Room Tip: A room on the first level will provide walk-out direct access to the beautiful, expansive backyard/l...

We arrived just in time to see our first fantastic sunset. This on top of the wonderful beach and ocean views from our room got our stay off to a good start. I cannot praise the hotel, location, staff and area enough. We overheard someone describing it as "heaven on earth" and we had to agree.

The residents appeared to be all Americans and we were amazed that British people had never heard of Ogunquit let alone stay there. One of the reasons may be that we found it difficult to book online and had to ring the hotel direct .We will certainly recommend it and the hotel to them.

If you are touring Maine make this one of your stops on the way.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 23 in the Victorian building and thought it was first class. Check it out on the w...

Dear DavidSurry_England

Thank you for your TripAdvisor review and your lovely remarks about our property. The team works hard to make this everyone's "home away from home" while they are here. I'll let them know you appreciated their efforts!

We do host guests from Europe, mostly from the UK but also Germany and France. We'd love to host more of your friends, so send them over! Our new web site is under development and after it's completion we hope to have more on line booking availability. Hope to have you visit us again in the not too far away future.

So excited to get back to Maine as I was sooo bummed we weren't able to come back last year. After the best visit in June 2012, I picked the Beachmere, of course and it was just as fabulous as the first time. Aaron, Grace, Darlene and Tiffany are always so pleasant and helpful. Tiffany did a wonderful job keeping our room in immaculate condition so we can go out and enjoy our vacation. Thank you again Beachmere, for a wonderful
memories. See you next year *fingers crossed*

Eleven family members had four rooms in June. A wonderful location with breathtaking views. Staff was helpful and friendly. Proximity to Marginal Way could not be more convenient. Ogunquit was charming and Perkins Cove was within walking distance where we had seafood every night. A real treat was the Lobster Boat Tour out of Perkins Cove. Educational and entertaining. The only disappointment was the complimentary breakfast buffet. Guess we got spoiled at the White Mountain Hotel in New Hampshire where we stayed before arriving here. Food offerings were ok but they ran out of many items before the breakfast hours closed. If you know how many guests you have, shouldn't be a problem -- but it was. Found a couple great places for breakfast close by.

Room Tip: In some units, you enter through the bedroom! Ask about room configuration.

We were married at the Beachmere on June 14. Tracy and all of the staff were terrific in planning and even better in execution. Every detail was perfect. We had very high expectations, and they exceeded all of them. We could not recommend them more highly.

Your wedding has now set the bar very high for an event that looked just picture perfect at every turn. We couldn't be happier for you both and I hope we see you at the Inn again.

Congratulations to you both.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Beachmere just one night last weekend (we had never been there before). The day we were leaving we booked 3 more days in July! The Victorian house was very nice. The wood work was very pretty in the hall way and the rooms themselves were quaint and quiet. The grounds are very beautiful too. Such a peaceful environment!! The staff was friendly at the front counter but we didn't get a chance to check out the pub. If our stay is as good in July it will probably become a yearly place for us! The only reason I didn't give it 5 rating is because they spa and hot tub was in a very odd place and there isn't a pool.

Room Tip: Stay in the Victorian if possible. Not all the rooms have balconies so ask.

I visited the Beachmere Inn for a couple day meeting and was so impressed with every aspect of this hotel. The location is breathtaking and right on the Marginal Trail. The staff are so helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate my needs. This family owned and operated establishment is a gem. It is walking distance from all the great restaurants and stores. I have not left the establishment yet, but am already thinking about excuses to return.
