Ogunquit is truly a beautiful place. Waves breaking on the rocks, sandy beach, artsy community. And staying at the Beachmere puts you right in the middle of the beach and the rocks. Plus it is on the Marginal Way. This facility has every type of room and ammenity you'd ever want. Staff is friendly and attentive. Been coming here for over 20 years.

Room Tip: Almost every room has an ocean view. There's an old Victorian building, standard to luxury room...

We stayed here for our first trip to Ogunquit this summer. The resort is down at the end of the hotel strip and has a really great view. The grounds are extremely well maintained and very pretty. Our room was in the Beachmere West section and a little dated but still very nice. It is great to have a small efficiency kitchen, especially when traveling with our 8-month old. Be aware that many rooms in this section of the resort actually have a queen bed and a single bed, which does cut down the space. However, housekeeping was kind enough to move the extra bed out of our room so we had a little extra room for her travel crib and play mat. The resort is very family friendly and Ogunquit is a great town for traveling with kids. We are looking forward to coming back next summer.

I stayed at the Victorian House..Absolutely beautiful. Service was great. Looking forward to next year. The view from the balcony was breath taking. I did tell the front desk they should change the matress though. (rm 14)

Spent another week this summer at the Beachmere Inn. Beautiful resort in a spectacular location!! Joined this year by our daughter and her family - such a great place for all of us, Including our two granddaughters to enjoy the gorgeous Maine coast! Can't wait for our next visit. Always a memorable stay at the Beachmere!!!

We haven't been to the Beachmere in five years and forgot how much we really missed it. Hopefully, we will return in 2015. It is one of the nicest and friendliest resorts we have ever stayed in. We had lobster and steak on our deck. There is not a restaurant in Oguinquit that compares to the view and the ambience.

High end bedspreads (frette). It's the details that give you an idea of how great all else is. The views from most rooms are lovely, of Ogunquit beach. Staff from housekeeping to front desk to bar are all friendly. DVDs and popcorn. Breakfast is not the greatest though donut day is good. Staff take it away at 9:30 am sharp, and often the milk runs out before until a guest notices and informs. Yoga would be better before breakfast not 9a. Bocce and croquet a nice touch as is the occasional high end wedding. Walk just a few feet to little beach - go no further. Walk to Perkins cove or OGT center. On marginal way. Reserve a year in advance....the Victorian is nice but the modern rooms are just as good. The bottom line is that it is a beautiful friendly and pleasant place to stay and you won't want to leave.

Room Tip: They will give you specific rooms so look at the maps for configurations . Farther from checkin bett...

We were counting on TA to steer us to a peaceful location in the Kennebunkport-Ogunquit area. Made reservations 6 months in advance, & so glad that we did! Large condo-like suite. So well insulated that we could not hear a wedding reception on a side lawn. Huge bathroom. All areas well lite & plenty of electrical outlets. Strong WiFi with a different code given at check-in for each device you would be using. Beautiful view from balcony & lawn. Participated in Yoga on the Lawn on Sunday A.M. for $15. Disappointed in limited lunch & dinner offering.Kitchette with hot plate & fully stocked dishes/pots, allowed us ti cook lite meals in our room. Breakfast mych better. Take back to you room & watch the beach wake-up. Grounds are immaculate. Staff friendly & helpful. We hope to come back in another couple years.
