We have been staying at the Mariner since the Colozzo's first built it and now that their Daughter and Son-in- Law own it and it is still a clean, quite and affordable stay. We try to visit Maine 3-4 times a year and never look for accommodations elsewhere. As is said if it isn't broken don't fix it. All the staff is so delightful and helpful at any time. We definitely have friends at The Mariner.

Room Tip: research your trip.

Nice place and very nice people who work here. I have to say the view is not the best. Our room looks right into the side of the office building. However rooms further down the building faces the pool. The inside pool and outside pool are very nice. Be careful with the website. It is a ways from the ocean. There are houses that are between you and the ocean. They are a ways a way but blocks the view. I bet at one time the view was nice. Again the price is right. There are a lot of beautiful places around here, but a lot more expensive.

We thank you for staying with us and taking the time to write a review. Perhaps when you visit with us in the future, ask to stay in one of our king corner rooms. These rooms offer the best views of the property and the beautiful tidal marsh with distant ocean views. Thank you again.

We stayed 2 nights at the Mariner Resort. We got a great price and took the advice of other reviewers to request a 2nd floor room. I was impressed with how quiet it was with the windows closed, despite several other guests being out on the balcony late into the night. The beds and pillows weren't comfortable for us, but we slept ok. We enjoyed the pools and hot tub, as well as the coffee and fresh fruit in the morning. The room was very clean and spacious and I liked having the fridge with a separate freezer so we could reuse our bag of ice in the cooler. The staff were very personable and helpful with information and dining recommendations. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Room Tip: Get a room on the upper floor.

What a relaxing place to stay! Wonderful outdoor pool and hot tub, more than adequate continental breakfast, generous room size, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful view across the marshes to the ocean in the distance, on the trolley line to intown restaurants and two nearby beaches, and clean, clean, clean. Set your alarm and get up for the sunrise!! I'll be back; it's become my go-to place when I visit Maine. (No room service, no restaurant, but you don't need it. Rooms have microwave and full size refrigerator.)

Reasonably priced. Nice place for family vacation. Rooms are cleaned every day and a grab and go breakfast is available. The rooms have a microwave and full size fridge The kids love the indoor and outdoor pools and also have a hot tub for the adults. You can take the trolley to Perkins Cove or Ogunquit Beach. We have been to the Mariner for the last 9 years and will continue to come in the future.

Room Tip: second floor rooms are quieter

The Mariner suited our needs perfectly when we needed to find a place to stay while attending a wedding last in late August. The rooms are good but quite dark, but ours was equipped with a full sized refrigerator and microwave which was appreciated. The continental breakfast was superb and filling, and the pool was great. Would certainly recommend!

Clean , good wifi in room, good light breakfast included...fresh variety of sweet melons, decent OJ, yogurt, fresh cake-donut-Danish, a working hot tub!!!
Could hear trampling above , so ask for 2nd floor room. Not near walking distance of beach and no access to river in back of motel. Would stay again at price of $119 or less. Don't forget to walk " the marginal way" near by.

We thank you for taking the time to write your review. The closest beach to us is The Footbridge Beach, and its about a half mile from The Mariner or approximately a 15 min walk. All our marshes are protected, therefore access is not permitted. Remember the trolley can take you there or you can drive and pay to park. We look forward to your next stay with us. Thank you kindly
