Our stay at the Almost Home Inn was absolutely perfect. The location is great – walking distance from many restaurants and from the beach. The rooms are very large and clean, and have everything you’ll need to make your stay comfortable. Moreover, the breakfast…………..one word: Amazing! But the best thing about the inn is the hospitality. Jacqui really made us feel at home. We were greeted with a smile and freshly baked cookies, and she also surprised us with fresh flowers for our anniversary. We can’t wait for our next visit!

I have been coming to Ogunquit every summer for about ten years and have stayed at a few different hotels but the Almost Home Inn is by far the best place to stay. Jackie, the innkeeper, is so welcoming and hospitable and boy does she know how to cook! Breakfast is included in the cost of room and it is something to look forward too.
Mimosas, fruit cups, eggs or pancakes, bacon and always something sweet.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. The inn has a big backyard, deck, and fire pit if you want to just hang out and relax.

Inn is close to several restaurants and a short walk to either footbridge beach or the main beach in ogunquit. Also a short walk to downtown.

If you are planning a trip to Ogunquit, do yourself a favor and stay here!

Absolutely wonderful place to relax and stay. Rooms are immaculate, beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. Love the location - walking distance to downtown shopping, restaurants, and the beach but not right on Route 1 with its noisy traffic. The Ogunquit trolley stops just a few feet from the driveway so it's easy to get everywhere. The grounds are glorious with color and so peaceful and we loved sitting around the stone fire pit at night. The Inn itself is a great place to stay but the real draw for Almost Home is the innkeeper - Jacqui. This lady has a true gift for hospitality and knows how to make her guests feel welcome and so at home. It really is difficult to leave after spending a few days with her at the Inn! She is an excellent chef and creates such delicious and outstanding breakfasts that no one has to eat another meal until dinnertime! Jacqui is totally focused on her guests and their comforts - whether it means making dinner reservations for them, providing transportation to the beach, or just ensuring they have the most relaxing time they can imagine. She's available for them and always with a smile, a great sense of humor and a quick wit. Will return time and again every time we're in the area. Have tried other places in the area before Almost Home and nothing comes close. Can't imagine staying anywhere else!

What a wonderful place. Within walking distance (and directly on the trolley line) Almost Home Inn is a terrific place...charming and huge rooms, all with private bath, lovely patio and gardens..a beautiful place. But what tops everything is the owner Jacqui Grant, who is so welcoming and gracious ...she took us to the beach, brought flowers for our parents anniversary and makes amazing breakfasts! We will be back!

My wife and I were married in Ogunquit several years ago, and had our reception at her fantastic bed and breakfast. We have stayed there many times, and every single time it has been perfect. Her rooms are beautiful, and clean. Her hospitality is second to none; and she made our wedding day romantic and special.
She is the reason that Almost Home is the best Bed and Breakfast in Oqunquit.
We won't stay anywhere else.

My husband and I stayed with Jacqui Grant and her almost Home Inn four five days in mid-June. Her home is better than most! The rooms are spotless and you never ever find any dust, dirt, or a even hair in the bathroom. The decor is adorable. We love the Garden Suite with it's large size, king bed, and all the cute country garden decorations and nick-knacks that Jacqui has decorated the room with. You have a large space to relax in, take a nap, read, or whatever. Jacqui is an awesome host and so welcoming. She will drive you to a restaurant or beach, make dinner reservations for you, suggest lots of great restaurants, activities, and fun things to do in Ogunquit. She often leaves homemade cookies in our room while we're at dinner, so the surprise is waiting for us when we get back "home". There are nice large wine glasses and a full mini fridge in the room. Her front patio complete with white wicker furniture, tables, and attractive blue market umbrellas looks adorable. Breakfast is served when you're ready. we like to linger first, have coffee for a while, and read before we eat. Jacqui never rushes us. She offers mimosas, and creates artistic, beautiful, gourmet breakfast each morning. We were treated like a king and queen, or :Princess" as she fondly called me! Everything is home made by Jacqui. You cannot go out to town to buy a breakfast that could compare to hers. It's a great value. It's fun to meet and chat with other guests, but it's not crowded, and the atmosphere is relaxing and intimate. Usually the breakfast is plentiful so we end up just going out to dinner, and skip lunch. If you happen to be around at 4 or 5 o'clock, Jacqui serves complimentary wine, cheese, crackers, and fruit outside on the patio amidst her beautiful gardens and flowers. You'll love the almost Home Inn and you'll never want to go home!

We just got back from a long weekend at Almost Home Inn, and it wasn't long enough. This is the second time we've stayed with Jacqui and we definitely hope to go back again. The experience could not be better. The Inn is conveniently located within quick walking distance to everything. We regularly walk right into town, down to Perkins Cove, and back along the Marginal Way and beach back to the inn. It makes a perfect loop.

Jacqui couldn't be nicer and is there to help you with ideas of what to do in the area and even make you dinner reservations. Her breakfasts are outstanding and enough food that you end up skipping lunch if you want, or need a snack at most.

The grounds of the inn are beautiful including the rooms. There are plenty of comfortable places to sit outside and read a book, and we even had our breakfasts outside which was great.

If you are looking for a relaxing time away, there couldn't be a better place to stay than Almost Home Inn. Thanks again Jacqui!
