Us 5 "older" girls have been going to Ogunquit for at least 12+ years and we started with their sister hotel which was very good except they had no restaurant for breakfast so for the last 10 years we have been staying at Gorges. All of the staff regardless of their position are very pleasant and accommodating with some having been there for years, which says alot about the management. Over the last few years they have been doing updates and we were quite surprised the room we usually ask for had awesome ones on a visit this past Mem'l Weekend. New carpet, dresser/small fridge combo, wooden shelving in bathroom etc....
The location is about 10 minute walk into downtown which works as parking down there is nearly impossible. Both of the pools and areas surrounding them are very kept and water is clean.
The beds are Awesome!!! I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for a stay no matter how long or short. You won't be disappointed.
