The pizza here is GREAT nice thin crust, good selection and a nice place to sit outdoors, but, a little pricey for what you get. I'll go there again because it's that good.
We ate there one night a couple weeks ago and then a couple nights later we wanted to order a pizza to go.
We were told that they were too busy to make pizza orders to go, but, they were able to seat us right away and we ordered pizza and wine and received good, prompt service. The outside seating area was NOT full.
So, instead of an $18 pizza to go (wanted to take it to the beach) we ate there, $18 pizza and two glasses of wine, another $18 plus a 20% tip. We each ate one piece of pizza and took the rest to go and ate at the beach.
Just rubbed us the wrong way because they were not all that busy on a mid week evening.
Will definitely go there again on our next visit to maine.

Thanks for visiting Cornerstone and we are so glad you enjoyed the pizza! We are sorry you felt there was any trickery going on and want to apologize and explain about the to-go portion of our menu. We do shut down our to-go menu during dinner hours in the peak season. We do this as a courtesy to our customers who are dining at the restaurant so as not to cause delays in their experience. Several factors go into the decision making process when we opt to close our to-go menu such as reservations for large parties that evening, to-go orders already placed, and overall volume of orders already placed. We make every effort to keep our to-go menu available for as many hours in the day as possible and we suggest to customers that to-go orders be placed earlier than 6PM to avoid the possibility of such complications. We appreciate your visit, taking the time to write a review about your experience, and we hope to see you again!

Went here for breakfast this morning. I should have read the menu before I did. Expecting and wanting somewhat traditional breakfast fare there was nothing on the menu that interested me. I finally made the decision to order "baked eggs" and home fires and toast. They only served eggs that are baked which makes them dry and rubbery. They are baked in a casserole dish and were very difficult to get out of the dish. No scrambled, poached, or easy over's here. I asked for wheat toast and the waitress told me they only have sourdough which I said was fine. She did come back to tell me they did find some wheat though. When she arrived the size of the bread was like a wafer you would serve with cheese, grilled not toasted. The server was pleasant but the service was way slower than I expected it to be as there were only five or six parties there.

We really enjoyed our time at Cornerstone. The pizza is very good and the beer selection is excellent. It was a little on the pricey side but the outdoor seating cannot be beat. We loved people watching and hanging out as a family. The service was good.

This was our second attempt at dining here. The first time we waited and waited for service. We actually walked out before anyone came over to serve us. The second time we did order drinks but after looking the menu over and over no one could find anything they liked. It's too bad. It's a great location but service and food selection are terrible.

We stopped by Cornerstone for drinks one night and enjoyed their varied selection of craft draft beers, of which they let you sample if you like prior to ordering. We came back another night for a few drinks and loved watching them make their pizza's so we just had to get one to take back to our hotel room. It was very good.
