Description: Over the past 30 years, our family has brought you the finest in hand crafted Italian food here in Ogunquit Maine. We stock only the finest imported olive oils, select tomatoes from the Tri-Valley Growers in California, and fresh native seafood. Our greens, herbs and vegetables are delivered to our chefs daily and to offer healthy choices, we do not use ANY salt or preservatives in our Italian recipes. We take pride in selecting and serving our food in Southern Maine and have continued this tradition for over 30 years. We are located in a restored 1850 farm house with wide beams and pumpkin pine hard wood floors, several small dining rooms and two larger rooms. Enjoy our small espresso bar, where full liquor is available and local beers are on tap. Small plates of our gourmet dishes are also available. Have fun watching a big game on our flat screen TV while enjoying the warmth of our working fireplace.

Dinner and desert were excellent. Service was a little slow since the place was packed but enjoy some wine and appetizers and it's worth the wait. Also, would recommend making reservations on the weekend if possible. Inside the restaurant was really nice but it was pretty loud.

We've eaten at Roberto's several times of the past ten years and are happy to report that, at present, the food and service are both excellent. We ordered two bottles of wine from their wine list, which wasn't extensive, but offered a decent selection of reasonably priced wines. Our party of eight all enjoyed the flat bread appetizer, the mussels, and the salad. we ordered a wide range of entrees and all were delicious. The lobster and pappadelle had a nice portion of lobster and the sauce wasn't too heavy. The risotto in both the osso bucco and in the seafood risotto was creamy and cooked just right. The scallops with linguine, the bolognese, and the saltimbocca were all equally delicious. Each of these familiar meals were what you'd expect from a good quality Italian restaurant. The surprise dish was the black cod served with black olives, capers, and tomatoes; this dish was an unexpected delight. Desserts were a bit of a disappointment. Pass on the creme brulee and don't bother with the peanut butter bomb; instead, try the ricotta cheesecake, highly recommended by our server, or the mud pie, both were calorie worthy. It was a busy night on a holiday weekend in Ogunquit and our server didn't miss a beat. We are pleased that Roberto's seems to have "kicked it up a notch" since our last visit and look forward to dining there again.

We came here not expecting too much since we were told that "La Pizzeria" had the best pizza in Ogunquit (I dispute that claim as well). Roberto's is more of a flat-bread, thin crust pizza. It is delicious. The service was great and the salads were excellent as well.

After reading mixed reviews, we forged ahead with dinner at Roberto's. Great decision! From the wonderful infused cocktails, to Rob's attentive and fun service, to the wonderful pastas with fresh seafood or without, and delicious desserts. The only minor detail: they charge for refills on tea/soda - this southern girl isn't used to that. Wonderful experience overall; would go back again (and may on this trip)!

I don't get why after a day at the beach or walking along the Marginal Way, you get so hungry. 5 of us arrived after looking forward to dinner all day. Roberto's didn't disappoint. We all shared and all flavors were complicated and simple and fresh and so satisfying. I had beet salad and grilled zucchini. Simple and inspiring. have anything with their home made tomato sauce. If you order a Norman, a super yummy boozy lemonade make sure you are walking home!!!!
