Great selection of wine and cheese. Very knowledgeable. So sad they are not opening the outside this year but so glad they have the same great wines and cheeses available. The cheese selection is great and they are so helpful

We love this for many reasons. In the summer, they have a great little outdoor cafe. Cheese platter and desserts (homemade, I think! but I know all the fruit is from the owners yard!) are excellent. Wine is great but also a nice selection of beers. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the dinners are good. A great place to hangout on a summer night. But, it is an excellent place to get a bottle of wine, go to a tasting or get some excellent cheese at any time of the year!

We were here last in 2006 and had a bad experience with a large party (8-all foodies). The owner embarrassed one of our guests because he dared to eat a cheese he purchased in Her store while we tolerated a long wait for service and food. After 7 years we thought we would give it another try.The Result was worst!!

The cafe had only two tables with people at 7:30 pm on a Thursday. Our party of three felt this would mean immediate seating. When the waitress asked for the number of our party, we were told it would be a few mins. When we asked why , she said one of the "Big"tables would have to open up for us. We asked why we couldn't combine two tables to create immediate seating. She replied they were waiting for the dinner crowd and that it becomes difficult to serve because the tables are so close together. I am not sure what the Obstacles are that would prevent her from serving but it certainly was not customers! I can not comment on the food or value on this trip because we immediately left ! We had seen and heard enough to things are just like we left there last time. We are older now and know when a food disaster is approaching .

I have no idea why this place is open to the public since the culture is "come in if you must" vs. "welcome in". My family and friends are the Demographics that carry a place like this! However , in Consecutive times , years apart, we experienced the same rude and unwelcoming culture by the staff and owner! Again, How do they stay in business ?! Without a doubt this is a place to avoid!!!
