“Great views and wonderful staff!”
Reviewed 12 August 2013

I've stayed at the Sea Chambers several times now and plan to do so many more times in the future! My husband and I love the Sea Chambers for a couple of reasons, the ocean view rooms have a wonderful view of the ocean, they have their own little private dock where you can go down and stick your feet right in the water or enjoy some serenity and peace early in the mornings for the sunrise. They are easy access to the wonderful shops of Ogunquit, have sufficient parking for their guests, and are a stones throw from the best feature of Ogunquit, the Marginal Way! Not to mention the staff is always wonderful, and Kate is fantastic, remembering us by name from our frequent visits and always making us feel right at home! We are fitness enthusiasts, so another great perk to the Sea Chambers is that guests can get a pass to the nearby York Fitness for a great workout. Absolutely love this place, and I know they are re doing several rooms this coming winter, so looking forward to seeing the changes next summer when we return!

Room Tip: We love rooms 40 - 42 on the lower deck, great views, easy access to the private dock. The rooms dir...

We stayed in room 42 which is the closest to the deck and ocean. The view can't be beat. This inn looks like the only place that has a deck right on the water. We were able to swim right off the dock into the the ocean, couldn't beat it.

The staff was very courteous. Our experience at this motel was very nice. We loved the location, and do not believe that many other accommodations to be better located, particularly for the price.
The family room was comfortable and clean. It would be nice to have chairs outside of the room, as the family next door monopolized the public area.

I would gladly stay in this facility again.

We've stayed here a few years and found it to be a dependable, friendly place to stay. Parking for vehicle, ice machine, decks near the water for get-togethers with friends. Easy access to Marginal Way, the beach and shops. We have stayed in rooms closest to the water for the great views and sounds of the ocean. Last year we ran into difficulties on the ride up and were very late - called ahead and they were ready when we got there to check us in. Breakfast is in a very cute, bright cottage area with paintings, jewelry on display. Coffee is very good and selection is enough to get you on your way for the morning. Can make toast, bagels, etc or stick to lighter yogurts, cereal, with light breads always offered. Is also an eating area outside the cottage that is lovely. Rooms we stayed in were pleasant with refrigerator, microwave, shampoos and soaps available. We always enjoy our stay and love the relaxed atmosphere of this place by the sea.

Room Tip: You are never far from the water here so if you want to save money, go for the rooms without views...

This is a Great place for a family vacation! The rooms were clean, the location was excellent and the town is a ton of fun. Great bang for the buck. you can easily walk into town or the beach from the motel. Spacious rooms, quiet, family environment. Pool was a perfect compliment to the amazing views.

My mother stays here every year when she visits Maine and insisted I do the same. I did search other area hotels and found this to be in the better price range so we went with it. You cannot beat the location! And you will never pay to park because you are so close to everything that you dont need the car! Breakfast was AWSOME! Rooms were clean and staff was VERY NICE! There is a nice pool although we parked on the beach the whole time. They offer beach chairs and towels too! We come o Maine a lot and stay "wherever" but from ow on we will be sure to book here always! THANKYOU to the staff for doing such a great job!

We stayed at the Sea Chambers hotel for one night to celebrate our friend's birthday.

The accommodations are pretty basic. The rooms were clean, the staff was super friendly, and the location was great-within walking distance to the many shops and restaurants around town.

This place has a pool which looked nice (we stayed in the off-season so we didn't use it).

We loved the big deck that overlooks the ocean. We used the deck after a long day of exploring. We were the only ones there-we had cheese and wine and put on some nice music. It was a perfect end to the night.

We woke up early in the morning to catch one of the most beautiful sunrises we have ever seen.

We would definitely come back-we were only there for one night but this one night stay gave us a lifetime of memories.

Room Tip: It's obvious, but chose a room facing the ocean.
