My wife and I wanted to take a day trip to Maine from Boston, and we wound up finding this place on BedandBreakfast.com. They usually mandate a minimum booking of 2 nights, but they made an exception since it was a last-minute reservation and it was unlikely that they were going to get a booking that met that requirement at that point. We were very grateful for that, and the price was very good for a summer stay in a coastal town. ($180 including taxes and fees).

We stayed in Room #3, which had a private bathroom and access to a balcony outside. From the balcony, there is a set of stairs that leads directly to the parking lot. The room was clean and cozy, and the bed was comfortable. There was a quiet AC unit in the room, and we had full control of it. The walls are thin, and you can hear most of the movements of the other guests in the building. There is also free Wi-Fi, but we had trouble locating the network.

The location of the Ogunquitt Inn is great, as we were able to walk everywhere we needed to get to.

We might have been a little spoiled by our last booking on Bedandbreakfast.com and our expectations might have been a little too great. Our other booking (in Napa, CA) treated us to one of the best breakfasts either of us had ever had - served by a very friendly staff member while seated on a beautiful porch just outside. The breakfast at the Ogunquit Inn was a meager continental breakfast that offered hardboiled eggs, pastries, bagels, and nothing else worth remembering. After a few bites, we wound up heading into town in search of something else to eat...and also some water. It was a hot summer morning, and we were surprised that they didn't offer any drinking water at breakfast.

Overall, we were content and wound up having a fantastic few days in Ogunquit. The price was right, and the location was great. If we were heading back to the area and needed a place to stay, we would definitely consider this place again but we would come prepared with a few breakfast recommendations in town.

We returned to Ogunquit again this year to celebrate our anniversay and stayed once more at the Ogunquit Inn. Innkeeper Kirk was most receptive and helpful with dinning options, ice and trolly information. We had our favourite room (#3) which has a separate entrance from the rear deck and is equiped with the latest flat screen TV and heat pump heat/air conditioner. It is so convenient within walking distance to downtown, restaurants, the main beach and the beautiful Marginal Way walk to Perkins Cove. We will definitely stay at the Ogunquit Inn on any future visits to Ogunquit.

This cozy little Victorian inn is in a quiet neighborhood, away from traffic. With only a few rooms in the house, there was absolutely no disturbance from other guests. I could actually hear the birds chirping in the early morning! If someone is looking for peace, tranquility and quiet, this is the spot. Yet, if you want the beach, fine dining, or the excitement of a hot dance club, all of those things are a short walk away! Leave your car at the Ogunquit Inn, you really don't need it, unless you choose to travel to Wells or another neighboring town.

The room and private bath were spotless, very well maintained, and the temperature very comfortable despite the hot, humid weather. Free Wifi on the premises was very accessible and seemed to operate at a high speed.

The Innkeeper was a gracious host....when I needed him. He was for the most part, "sight unseen," which is at it should be - though if you need him, he is accessible. If he was off the premises, he always left a note on the office window advising that he was out for a little while.

This was by far the most beautiful old house that I have stayed in at Ogunquit, or elsewhere for that matter. I am planning a return trip in a couple of weeks. I chose the Ogunquit Inn as my destination once again!

Repeat customer here!

Room Tip: Rooms with a private bath are worth the extra money,

We managed to snag a last minute discounts for this Inn during peak seasons as budget backpackers. We stayed in Room #3 on the second floor....it was comfy, beautiful, cozy, and has easy backyard access to the parking lot behind the house. The breakfast was very simple (yummy muffins, yogurt, OJ, hardboiled eggs), but filled our bellies for the day. Kirk was very nice to let us park our rental car for the whole day after we checked out so we could explore Ogunquit more!

The Inn is very close to the center of the town, about 5 min walk and about half an hour to Perkins Cove...really, the Inn might not be AT the beach, but it's good enough for about 5-10 min walk (which is no big deal to us anyway).

Room Tip: Pick Room #3...great decor and less traversing on the stairs compared to the third floor.

Very well located, this inn is the perfect place to stay. Kirk was so nice to us, very obliging. Every morning he would bake scones or muffins and is always here to help. The place is quiet, well furnished. We loved our wine on the patio. Not far from the restaurant and the beach, the inn is still at an enough distance to avoid the noises. We loved it.
