Hotel was clean and satisfactory. We stayed there at the end of April and the outdoor pool was not open yet. The outside hot tub was though. The hotel leads you to believe that there is an indoor pool, which there is not. You have to drive to the sister hotel in order to use the indoor pool. Not convienent during colder months when the outdoor pool cannot be used

Dear Heidi S,
We were very sorry to read you felt we mislead you regarding the location of the indoor pool. I must admit to being a bit baffled as you made your reservation through a third party and having reviewed our information on their website, I see no mention of an indoor pool at all. We also checked our own website and there is nothing there that states we have an indoor pool on our property. It is certainly accurate to say we do offer our guests the courtesy of using the indoor pool at our sister property, The Grand Hotel. It is located 10 buildings down the road from us and is a 5-6 minute walk. It is certainly our policy to accurately describe what we offer and we do go into considerable detail when we make reservations about room location, number of stairs and amenities.

We do thank you for your candid comments and wish you a wonderful summer!

The unit was spacious and nicely furnished. However, the coffee pot did not work and the microwave is a very low powered one. Since it is the only thing to cook with, the low power was a bit of a problem in heating things up on a timely basis.

The unit was musty and fortunately we had good weather so we could open the door to air it out.

The hotel is conveniently located with a short walk to town, the Marginal Way, and access to the ocean.

The unit was priced well for the value.

The staff was quite friendly and helpful. They recommended Dave's Clam Shack in Wells for dinner, and what an awesome dinner it was!!! Great clam chowder and the lobster bake was enormous with clams, a lobster, and corn on the cob in a cut-off galvanized bucket.

Room Tip: They have a 2-story family unit that would accommodate familes, and the grounds are wonderful for a family including a playground and a BBQ grill.

Dear SuzeofLarkspur, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent stay with us. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your time in Ogunquit but disappointed to hear that you had problems with your coffee pot and that you felt the microwave was too low a strength. These are both problems that are easily correctable and we would have gladly "fixed" it for you. We will also look into why your room seemed musty. On the other hand, I am very happy to hear you enjoyed your dinner at Mikes CLam Shack which we recommended to you. Their Clam Chowder is soooo good! We appreciate yuour having stayed with us and hope to see you again if you find your way back to Ogunquit one day.

This was our 2nd stay here. We had a studio on the 3rd level in the Shore House. The room though small was just enough for the two of us. A comfortable queen bed, a small, equally comfortable couch, a three-quarter size fridge, microwave and fully stocked with plates and utensils. The wall-mounted flat- screen tv allowed us to watch easily from all points of the room. The shower was clean with good water pressure. Small but clean and in great condition. The grounds were well manicured and the office personnel were very friendly and helpful. The wi-fi was easy, they give you a code at check-in. They also have a selection of books to read and dvds to watch. We spent most of our vacation out and about but our room was nice to come home to. Another great thing about this resort is the location. The beach, Marginal Way, the shops were all in walking distance. This week, the weather wasn't always the best so being close to base was handy. We only stayed half a week and wish we stayed longer. Pink Blossoms Resort is one of our favorite places in all of Maine and look to go back again.

Room Tip: Studios on the 3rd floor have quite a few stairs and there are no elevators.

My 16-year-old daughter and I decided on a last minute short vacation so I booked a 2 night stay the night before we left based on reviews I read here and I was not disappointed! The property is immaculately cared for and landscaped beautifully. The staff went above and beyond what I have experienced at other hotels. They had excellent suggestions for dining and activities for us to do during our stay. One staff member even offered to lend us their copy of a visitor's guide. They are located steps away from the ocean and about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The room itself was white glove clean and the little touches, such as putting the blanket on the bed between two sheets and leaving makeup remover towelettes as part of the traditional soap/shampoo, made us realize it was far beyond what a chain hotel would offer. We felt like we were home. We didn't take advantage of the kitchenette (complete with dishes, silverware, glasses, toaster, coffee maker and microwave) due to the short stay, but the fridge was a welcome amenity to fill with drinks. We were sad to leave, but will absolutely stay here again in the future.

We travelled in April, and the rates were good for a 3 night stay. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach, and Ogunquit Beach is a very long, wonderfully smooth, sandy beach that has gentle waves, and space to enjoy long walks. Staff was very accomodating to our needs and questions. Room was very clean and equipped with microwave, hotplate stove, coffemaker, pans and dishes, and refrigerator. Shops and coastal hilking were nearby and within an easy walking distance. Loved the off-season lack of traffic and yet many stores and restaurants were open. Outdoor pool was closed, (it was April, after all) but the outdoor hot tub was available, and an indoor pool at their other locationwas offered.

Dear rhodysmiles, Thanks so much for your very nice review of Pink Blossoms Resort. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. More and more people are discovering Ogunquit in the off season where the rates are low and the traffic and crowds have yet to appear. Thank so so much for staying with us and we hope to see you again!
